One night last week our dog threw up her food. Called the vet just to check, just said keep an eye on her, once in a while they throw up, etc. Last night, all the sudden she throws up her food on the floor. From what we can tell, she seemed fine and ran around the rest of the night after it. She hadn't thrown up at all since we've had her, but then once last week once this week. Is it just normal for dogs to throw up every once in a while, or should I be more concerned?

QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Jul 31, 2012 -> 09:36 PM) Can't disagree with anything said here. Garlic fries are fantastic, all the seats are great and top notch beer on tap. Definitely would be nice if the roof were open when you attend. Try to roam around and check out the park. Lots of cool things to see and a wide variety of food all over the place. If you're going on a weeknight, traffic is atrocious in Seattle so maybe try leaving a bit early if possible. Weekends aren't as bad. Don't know much about you Illini so give me some ideas on what you like to do and I can come up with some suggestions. Tons of nearby hikes, great restaurants, water sports, etc. Heck, maybe I'll meet you up for a beer at the game. Which game are you targeting? Thanks for the good info. I will absolutely get the garlic fries, among I'm sure plenty of other things. We're looking at that Monday game 8/13. I'm not exactly sure where we are staying (I'll find this out), we'll have a rental car but if there's a way to take public transportation we'll probably try to do that. Not sure how possible that is, haven't investigated at all. Any particular suggestions for beer on tap there? I know we're doing the pike tour, the underground tour...wife's planning a few other things. Heard the needle isn't a "must" and not all that worth it(?). Not sure where we have dinner planned but open to suggestions for that or for lunches, etc. We're open to some active kind of activities or even just fun places to go walk around.

Have the beach volleyball on in the background right now. I had no idea feet "freezing" was a gigantic issue. Hot water tubs, etc. It's been the commentary for about 50% of the entire match. -

Can we stop using the term fab five? I mean congrats to them but that's a nickname that has clearly been used. -

QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Jul 31, 2012 -> 03:36 PM) I normally would avoid it, but the rule of this thread is not to post spoilers without spoiler tag. This was specifically posted in this very thread. I figured Balta didnt see the original post which is why I pointed it out, so that others would realize the rule. If you dont like the rule, feel free to complain about that. I could care less about the rule - if I didn't want to see things, I'd sure as hell avoid the internet and a thread about the Olympics. You're complaining about human error. -

To piggyback off SnB's thread, I'll be there in a couple weeks. Food/bar/seating recs? Or any other general Seattle recs?

I found the PNC food I was talking about. In center field, it's called Manny's BBQ. Get the ribs. The pierogies were also good, they had a ton of different food options. Also for PNC, park on the other side of the river and walk across the bridge. It was a unique way to get to the game and it's a lot easier to park in a garage on that side. For Camden, if you can get there early, go onto the RF porch for BP. We got food outside the RF porch on the street (similar to Yawkey Way in Boston).

QUOTE (farmteam @ Jul 31, 2012 -> 12:03 AM) I think this helps with pretty much anything in life. Very true. Only way I could see it being a disadvantage is if the hiring manager/boss is a really ugly, jealous chick.

Just in case you need more on the "Illinois pitching tents in the parking lot" story and how none of it has any basis in facts, and it's just lazy journalism and looking for the SMU story: http://alioneye.com/2012/07/30/ridiculous-silliness/ -

Why does NBC tell you the results of events they haven't aired yet that night? Kind of defeats the purpose of putting things in prime time so people can watch. It's one thing if you go to the website or look elsewhere and find it, but to say it on the same network it's on later that night? -
If you don't sign a pitcher to a long-term deal, someone else will. So you can take the stance of never handing out long-term contracts, but be prepared to lose every good pitcher you have to FA.

QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Jul 28, 2012 -> 11:11 AM) Last I checked, the current players still get to keep their scholarships, so they get a free education which really is why they are supposed to be in college in the first place. The team is still going to play games. Not bowl games for a while. If the current players don't like it, they are free to go elsewhere and be eligible to play right away. Football became too important in Happy Valley. Hopefully, these sanctions will eventually lead to more people realizing that some things are more important than PSU's football record. They already realize it...JoePa is more important that PSU's football record.

It's easy to say it, tougher to implement it. We need to see how the hell they do this if they are baserunners. There's still going to be a ton of umpire judgment in placing them, and people will get pissed with that too.

I hope Penn St never wins another football game. I will root against them in every game moving forward year in and year out. The whole "these players didn't do anything" is out the window because they are essentially embracing the stupid ass 'us against the world mentality' and using child rape as a rallying cry to 'prove haters wrong.' Clueless, all of you.
