I can't be the only one that heard dips*** Packer talking about how they should consider changing the number of fouls a guy gets to 6. Ok, i'd actually give that some sort of thought somewhere along the way, not a bad discussion point. However, the guy went on to say that "they don't have to come out in other sports," and suggesting that there should be some other sort of penalty instead of a guy being able to foul out of a game. Yeah Packer, let's completely change how the game of basketball works. Even for Packer that was really, really stupid.

When cheering at a football game, are they winning? Losing? Who are they playing? It's a sideshow to an actual sports game. And holding competitions doesn't make it a sport. I can have a lawn mowing competition in my backyard - that doesn't make it a sport. LOL at anyone who thinks cheerleading is a sport.

Had our keeper league fantasy baseball draft last night. Approx 100 guys were kept, turned in March 1. Rowand44 has the first pick in the draft, drafts Chone Figgins, who was kept. He had practically a month to figure out who to draft.

Last season felt much faster. Like steve said, another month, plus the 2005 season's celebration seemed like it never ended. Then opening day just showed up. Many of us have been waiting for this season since sometime in september, so it's dragged on.
