  1. Of course you would. Crede fields an easy freaking ground ball, and he gives up only 3 runs.
  2. 1-2-3 inning, nice
  3. I will talk about the home run because it's physics Hell, it's better than the rest of everyone's constant "this season's over" b****ing in a one run game.
  4. It's called "Swing for the fences" , starring our lineup
  5. No runs scored. Everyone calm down.
  6. Carlos Lee esque, where it hits the "corner". Unless that ball had ridiculous backspin, and was coming nearly straight down, a ball that bounces purely on the horizontal part of the wall isn't going to come back into play. Again, you've seen it, i haven't, i'm just saying. Anything actually over the wall basically carries into the stands, etc.
  7. He has given up really 3 runs through 5 innings. Why is everyone so damn negative in a one run game?
  8. I haven't seen that one, but i guess they said it hit the line? Isn't it almost physically impossible for it to hit the flat, top part of the wall and come back in play?
  9. Ruled a double, nice
  10. Being on radio for this one sucks
  11. To the wall The distance it would take for the ball to get over the fence varies, anyway, depending on the flight of the ball.
  12. Stewart thrown out at second by Lee stretching a single to a double.
  13. Yay mommy's here!

How much do these things cost? Sounds like a good investment, seems i'm the only one manually brushing here.
  15. That's reasonable. Was the hit part of baseball? Yes Was it borderline dirty? Maybe Get over it already.
  16. IMO, bean balls are retaliation for bean balls, not hard plays at bases, whether borderline dirty or not. The whole sliding into second/third/home thing works for me. I don't need a beanball war, that's all. I don't see what the hell throwing at Hunter's head does at this point, at all.
  17. Well said Still talking about the Hunter thing is a loser mentality at this point
  18. Those teams listed as part of the non conference schedule - wow Better mature fast, IU
  19. Blackhawks Re-Sign G Jocelyn Thibault July 28, 2004 The Blackhawks announced today that they have re-signed goaltender Jocelyn Thibault to a one-year deal. Thibault, a 5'11", 169 pound, 29-year-old netminder appeared in only 14 games with the Blackhawks last season after undergoing hip surgery on Nov. 15, 2003. In his 14 appearances, Thibault posted a record of 5-7-2 with a 2.85 goals against average and a .913 save percentage with one shutout. Thibault had a record of 5-3-2 with 1 shutout, a 2.27 goals against average, and a .933 save percentage prior to his injury and surgery in November. In his six seasons with the Blackhawks, Thibault has appeared in 321 games while posting a 137-142-37 record with a 2.63 goals against average, a .905 save percentage and 28 shutouts. He currently ranks 4th on the Blackhawks' all-time wins list (1. Tony Esposito -- 418 wins/873 games played, 2. Glenn Hall -- 275 wins/618 games played, 3. Ed Belfour -- 201 wins/415 games played, 4. Jocelyn Thibault -- 136 wins/321 games played) while tied for 5th on the clubs all-time shutout list (1. Tony Esposito -- 74 SO, 2. Glenn Hall -- 51 SO, 3. Chuck Gardiner -- 42 SO, 4. Ed Belfour -- 30 SO, T-5. Jocelyn Thibault -- 28 SO and Mike Karakas 28 SO). He represented the Blackhawks at the 2003 NHL All-Star Game, his first All-Star appearance
  20. Totally agree...but the longball isn't terrible if you are hitting it with guys on base When you rely on the solo HR, you are screwed
  21. People are getting pissy? No way where (Not directed at anyone)
  22. I'm not one to say "this is the game of the season" or this is a "make or break game", so i'm not because i don't believe it, but i'd say this is important from an Elo perspective. You just lost 2 straight to the Twins, in ugly fashion, in your own park. You aren't facing either of their top 2 pitchers today. You've been struggling the past month or so. You'd like to give the team/fans some confidence and avoid the sweep. If there's one game where he needs to dig deep to find something, it's this game. If he can't...well, not good
  23. Nix still has a lot of potential, IMO. Locking Benson up to a long term deal? I don't think that's a great move on their part. They gave Chan Ho Park a lot of money for the sake of spending on a pitcher. I don't think they should do the same here. I'd either trade him for younger pitching and/or save the money for FA acquisitions that are better than Benson
  24. I'd throw at anyone if i was on an MLB team and my manager told me to do so.
