Jose needs to sit against lefty starters, his at-bats are foul to say the least against southpaws. So the lineup against lefties doesn't have any problems with playing time. Crede could afford more days off...after all he's hovering around the mendoza line. Right now his loopy swing isn't getting the job done, he looks pretty lost. Right now Rowand, Harris and Uribe all deserve to see regular time, and like some of you have said, i like Harris/Uribe at 1-2.

Please don't put Bernstein and Mariotti in the same category. I've listened to both shows; Bernstein, when you get down to it, knows a lot of things, has some good insightful thoughts. Mariotti is just full of himself and doesn't make sense at all. If you need proof go watch some Around The Horn.

Drese looked mediocre tonight...would fit right in with the Twins starters minus Radke, who can be dominant at times. Angels series will be a fun series, all starts with big Jon tomorrow. I'm eager to see how he responds to the challenge.

I'd like to see some consistency from Borchard over a pretty good period of time before he takes a crack at major league pitchers again. If i remember right, his April numbers weren't too good at all, i could be wrong though. That being said, I hope he keeps hitting so we do have some options later on in the season if we need them.

The blue seats are a major eyesore. Green seats would makethe park look much better, in my opinion.

Hawk didn't mean fans. He apologized today for not being clear about that. Regardless, even if he's only talking about the media (which i don't see how he can only mean media but not the fans) i think he's wrong. Anyone that's watched the game long enough or played it at a level of oh, maybe high school or higher could know a lot about the game. Hawk is trying to make baseball sound way more complicated than it actually is. A game that 'the people' just can't understand.

So all in all, Hawk wasn't talking about the fans but he was talking about the media. I don't understand how the fans know something but the media don't. At some level, aren't media people really just fans? Oh yeah, Bernstein would have loved this one.

Hawk just clarified...he said he wasn't talking about fans, he was talking about the "boers, bernsteins, and mariottis of the media." But Hawk isn't retracting anything he's said. In my opinion, Hawk is on a ridiculous ego trip. He's pushing this too far Wow, Boers just called Hawk "crap on a stick"

Ya, i have been reading the board again since the start of the season, just didn't get back into the posting mix with school and everything being a hassle at the end. Plus I spent all the time i did have over at IlliniBoard. This is turning into a shouting match on the Score.
