QUOTE (ChiSox_Sonix @ Sep 17, 2013 -> 09:29 AM) How deep is the league? Pierce, obviously. Woodhead would be a good PPR play in a pinch. Andre Ellington is the 3rd down back in Arizona and they play NO this week. Tolbert and Bush are always potential TD vultures. Add Starks to the list too. -

HS game, but crazy end to a game with both team's fans rushing the field on the last play of the game: http://www.rantsports.com/clubhouse/2013/0...wn-to-win-game/ -
QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Sep 16, 2013 -> 06:45 PM) Jaguars @ Seahawks (-19.5) Haven't seen a spread like that since the 16-0 Patriots Seems low, really.

QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Sep 16, 2013 -> 11:15 AM) It's nice to rewind and watch a play over again, but I don't have the ability to watch a game after it's already happened. I need to know the outcome right away. I watch recorded games all the time. It's live to me, I'd rather watch the game than just look at a box score. QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ Sep 16, 2013 -> 11:22 AM) My Dad perfected the art of recording a game, beginning to watch it from the beginning about an hour after it started, and catch up to live action right at the end of the game. Skip the commercials and still know the result of the game as it happens. I do this all the time.

QUOTE (knightni @ Sep 16, 2013 -> 11:24 AM) Joique Bell has been quietly racking up points due to his pass catching abilities. Should I consider starting him week 3 versus the weak-ass Redskins defense or choose Steven Jackson or Daryl Richardson even though they're injured and not as productive? You can consider it, but no need worrying about it yet. See how injury reports stack up on Bush, Jackson and Richardson...decision may end up making itself. -

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Sep 16, 2013 -> 11:07 AM) Pierre Garcon and Dwayne Bowe both had good to spectacular weeks and outperformed Larry Fitzgerald. Just sayin'. Also, having MJD and David Wilson in my lineup makes me want to self mutilate. Pipe down there, Mr. Mathews. Fitzgerald also wasn't near 100% and left early. Fitzgerald had a monster week 1. I'm not sure what the hell we're supposed to do with MJD and Wilson. -

QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Sep 15, 2013 -> 11:13 AM) No thats what NFL teams and real coaches do all the time. lol What can go wrong if the refs call the play correctly? The centering of the ball takes 2-3 seconds, that leaves 15 seconds on the clock. You line up, you let the clock go down to 5 seconds and you spike it. What exactly can go wrong? The refs can completely change the rules of college football so you lose? That can happen on any play.... If Wisconsin misses the fg or the asu runs back the kick for a td, everyone is saying "Why didnt you wear the clock down and make it the last play of the game." You cant answer: "Oh well I had a dream like Final Destination and I knew that the refs were going to screw us." (edit) And I know that s*** happens, but I really think people blaming Andersen are way off base here. He did his job. He was putting Wisconsin in the best position to win. The refs f***ed up. You cant expect that he is going to predict that. Sometimes you do everything right and lose. Hes 100x better than Bielema, its just unfortunate for the Wisconsin players to lose like that. They deserved better. Yeah...when they have a timeout. -

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Sep 15, 2013 -> 08:51 AM) He took a knee there are pictures of it all over the Internet. Refs took their win after earlier giving Michigan one. I would have rather had it reversed. Please post...only decent angle looks like he failed while running into his lineman, then just places the ball on the ground. Either way it was a stupid series of events by Wisconsin. -

QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Sep 14, 2013 -> 09:30 PM) Yeah, they actually look like a football team when they have the ball. May a conference win actually be in Illinois's future??? Scheelhaase was bad tonight. Def like cubit so far. No reason they shouldn't have a chance to win win 2-3 bt games. -

QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ Sep 14, 2013 -> 07:22 PM) Illinois has absolutely no talent on defense. Not a single defensive lineman on the roster who can shed a block and no team speed. Let's not be silly. Browns very talented. Monheim has proven he's a bt linebacker. Kynard has some talent. Bentley too but he's young. Bates shows flashes. The defense is so young and inexperienced. Not a ton you can do about that right now except play. They are going to give up a lot of yards this year. Lost to a better, ranked team. Looked respectable and fought. Not sure what you expected. -

QUOTE (Jake @ Sep 13, 2013 -> 12:33 AM) I really wouldn't like it if we got caught cheating, tbh. I have lived in Memphis for a while and they love their basketball, and they have no fond memories about the Calipari era. It was fun when it happened, but they definitely see it as tainted. I don't want Illinois getting a bunch of negative attention. I think we can do it the right way (or, at least, not outside the norm of cheating?) Not sure if he was joking or not, but I completely agree with you. I'd be ashamed as all hell, and anything won wouldn't mean too much. I want my school and coach above that nonsense. -

QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Sep 12, 2013 -> 09:59 PM) Anyone see TCu vs. Texas Tech? Perhaps the worst officiated game I've ever seen. Catch some highlights of that debacle. Only showed one controversial play but not sure what they were supposed to do on that dropped ball play, or what the rule is. -

QUOTE (chw42 @ Sep 12, 2013 -> 11:16 PM) I just picked up Terrelle Pryor. I also have Kaepernick. I'm sort of nervous about Kaepernick against Seattle's defense. They shut down Cam Newton last week. Kaepernick also wasn't great in Seattle last year (he put up 16 fantasy points in that game last year). I know this shouldn't even be a question...but Kaep or Pryor? Kaep, don't be cute here. -

Ppr is more fun, and makes rbs and wrs score closer to qbs. Also makes tds less important, which is fine by me since they are so random. -

QUOTE (Brian @ Sep 12, 2013 -> 08:31 PM) No reason but momentum is with Illinois and could see Cliff go there. Just a gut feeling. I'd love your gut to be correct. I'm over the moon getting Black and Snider. This will bring us back. Here we go. If somehow, some way, Cliff want to come here...yeah. Don't have words for that. I still think it's like 10% chance. I'm not trying to go crazy here and be all OMG we're getting Cliff now. But, having Black and Snider on board can't hurt the chances, especially if Cliff legitimately hasn't made up his mind yet. You never know. -
