  1. QUOTE(YASNY @ Nov 11, 2005 -> 06:58 AM) Anyone could be moved if the right deal comes along. Rowand is one of those that would be more probable than others on the Sox. As for the Yankees, I never could see what they have to offer that could match up. It wouldn't shock me to Cashman try and pull in another team if he has his sights set on Rowand. well said
  2. I played basketball with Jim McMahon... My uncle is a mormon and we played every week at the Church he attended. Jim was nice and very wierd to say the less... Good player. Met Dan Marino in Florida, very cool guy. Got a autograph and tried to talk to him, but it was almost impossible as everyone surrounded the dude. Met Carlos mayorga (boxer) in Vegas, funny guy... had 4 babes with him heading up to his suite. Met Ron Kittle 3 years ago outside the Cell, was late tot he game and he was leaving the ball park. Julio Zuleta (former scrub player) very nice guy, him and his wife (Only his wife) tanned at our tanning salon. Julian Taveraz outside Wigley, had to blondes with him.. dude looks like Freddi Crougar... was tanked and was talking spanish to me how he was gonna bang all 3 girls, kinda of a beat off if ya ask me. John Madden in Miami outside Pro player stadium , massive guy... signed auotgraphs and chatted for a bit with about 5 of us that were there early, then left as the crowd stated getting bigger. John Garland , chatted with him for about 30 minutes before a Scrub vs Sox game.. was outside in the bullpen bar area before they put the 2nd level seating... got a auotgraph and gave me some Yankees and mets Wolrd series balls they used for batting practice. Dave Martinez nice dude... very down to earth. Dick Butkus, nice guy. Quinton Richardson his senior year at DePaul at Ruth Cris steak house.. talked to him for a bit till his SUV pulled up... ( you know it was his) some coach was with them and was the driver. Rodman allot of times at Crobar in Chicago and Crobar in Miami... nicest dude you will ever meet.

  6. QUOTE(GreenSox @ Nov 9, 2005 -> 08:13 PM) I went to high school with Lyle. At that time, basketball was his game. Smart and well spoken guy. He seems to be the most qualified choice... Psycho sucks on Fox.. the other candidates are just plain weak. I believe Lyle will do a good job, hopefully we can get another guy later to replace Farmer who really blows.
  7. Alex, if ya can post "kiss em goodbye" in ur wav file format... the other file here is a simple MIDI . thanks

  12. QUOTE(Drew @ Nov 4, 2005 -> 03:16 PM) When I was living in Chicagoland last year, I picked up the Red Sox commemorative SI. Now that I'm living in LA, I haven't seen the commemorative SI anywhere out here. Any fellow Southern Californians know where I can go in LA county to take one of these beauties home with me? Nice sig Drew.

That was a favorite, and I'm guessing it's going to change before next season--it has to. It would be a nice memento to open the DVD! 17. QUOTE(LosMediasBlancas @ Oct 29, 2005 -> 10:05 PM) I should have the trip over to Hawkeye's or Bourbon St. Shoeless Joe's was lame. I was excited to see all the people in Sox gear when I got there, but the noise and energy levels were way down. I thought maybe the low score had a lot to do with it, but 30 minutes after the win, the place cleared out. A small group of us kept it rockin' as long as we could. Yeah, was hard to find anyhting that was rocking up North... after the game I cruised and once I hit Division and Clark... the place was jumping with Sox Fans... was very cool to see alll them people out on the street and bars. Now I know next time we make a run to go down there .
