  7. Just curious. I haven't seen anything on Soxtalk about it yet. I'm interested.
  8. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Aug 25, 2008 -> 01:45 PM) Has there ever been a worse player who spent 10+ straight years with a club? As far as defense goes he was pretty darn good. And I think as a backup catcher he was great to have. The problem arose when he became the #1 catcher. He was just too light-hitting for that. Anyway, good article!
  9. QUOTE (shipps @ Aug 25, 2008 -> 01:04 PM) As much as I love him I just couldnt put him on my list.He has been here a half of year, that just wouldnt be right. That's the way I felt about it too.

  12. QUOTE (lostfan @ Aug 17, 2008 -> 07:39 PM) Well that's a good thing. If this site ever gets close to what WSI is, I'm leaving. Fortunately I don't think the mod staff here has any plans to become overbearing assholes overnight so I think we're good. You said it. brother. That's it in a nutshell.
  13. Just got home from work. What an awesome win. Woulda been a real fun one to be at!
  14. I wanted to represent an old-time White Sox player so I went waaaay back and picked Big Ed Walsh, who contrary to popular opinion was before even my time.

  16. I thoroughly enjoyed reading your article, Pratt. Outstanding!
  17. Just got back from the Voyagers game. They won 7-3. There were 6 of us and we had air blasters sitting 5 rows behind the Great Falls dugout. It was a total blast. Skogley was pretty impressive. Cheatham made an outstanding diving catch in centerfield.
  18. I'll be at the Great Falls game. Yay!! Go Voyagers!!
  19. Thanks all! Now I'm going back to sleep. Maybe I can continue that dream about me and Jean Harlow.

QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 4, 2008 -> 07:29 PM) I just think when you're in contention, it's ridiculous to even consider showcasing a lesser player that everyone knows won't net you anything useful. You said it. Win or lose, the fact that he is suddenly starting again sickens me. Anyway, Uribe is probably best "showcased" sitting on the bench.
  21. HAPPY BIRTHDAYs!!!
  22. I like the favorite movies (general) idea. That could be fun.
  23. Hopefully Masset can finish this thing.
