  1. QUOTE (flavum @ Jul 24, 2013 -> 10:08 AM) http://www.milb.com/scoreboard/index.jsp?c...mp;ymd=20130724 Bristol playing. Toby Thomas homer. Hopefully, he's a diamond in the rough. Somebody on Twitter is saying Sox scouts are watching the Portland Seadogs game today. Ranaudo on the mound. http://www.milb.com/milb/stats/stats.jsp?g...ox&sid=milb Toby Thomas is raking, batting .405 in his last 10 gams, .353 overall.
  2. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Jul 23, 2013 -> 08:30 PM) It must be hellafun playing the White Sox.
  3. Times Opponent Shutout 4 Times Shutout by Opponent 9
  4. The Ramon Troncoso Fan Club is in attendance.
  5. QUOTE (CWSpalehoseCWS @ Jul 22, 2013 -> 10:38 PM) This. As bad as Konerko has been, it would be really nice to see one of the Sox greats actually retire in a Sox uniform for a change. How "bad" Konerko has been doesn't bother me. What's sad for me to see is his career possibly ending on such a crappy team. I totally agree though that I'd really like to see him retire as a White Sox.
  6. QUOTE (Jake @ Jul 22, 2013 -> 08:47 PM) If Beckham goes to DL, we should call up Carlos Sanchez just for s***s and giggles. Who knows, maybe he catches fire. It wouldn't be the first time something like that has happened. I was thinking the same thing just a few minutes ago. Why not?
  7. What a game for Snodgress! Shame he didn't get the no-hitter though.
  8. QUOTE (flavum @ Jul 22, 2013 -> 08:39 PM) I can't wait for the trades to start coming so there's something real to talk about with the Sox. Speculation and bad baseball is old. Man, I'm with you on that!
  9. Brewers, Astros and Marlins all currently leading.....yaaaay!
  10. QUOTE (Real @ Jul 22, 2013 -> 07:20 PM) hoping we get perfecto'd, more embarrassment needs to befall this team and players F*** that. I don't care how bad they are I don't want the Sox getting perfecto'd or even no-hit.
  11. It's the year of the Gake Threa, anything goes!
  12. LET'S GO WHITE SOX! CLAP CLAP CLAP-CLAP-CLAP!!! Now I have to keep doing that until they lose (which had better not be tonight). Let's get Sale a F***ING WIN!!!!
  13. Let's Go White Sox! Clap Clap Clap-Clap-Clap!!
  14. [ QUOTE (QuickJones81 @ Jul 21, 2013 -> 08:40 AM) I think the takeaway is Phegley needs to establish himself as the guy because there isn't a lot that is a year or two away in the minors to write home about. The next wave that may emerge in my mind are Gonzalez, Ayala, and Pizzoli. The rest just seem to be guys filling a milb roster. In addition to those three I'd include Haupt.
  15. Good job. That's a lot of work. Can you do this for all the other positions?
  16. QUOTE (South Side Fireworks Man @ Jul 20, 2013 -> 05:41 PM) How did Shingo look? Really I'd love to see a clip of it.
  17. Congrats!!! Always good to hear that mommy and baby are both doing fine.
  18. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Jul 19, 2013 -> 11:08 PM) Did I ever tell you about the time that Alan Hanson got a home run on a ground ball to shortstop? So anyways, Alan Hanson is up at the plate, and the pitcher is just giving him mean looks and spitting everywhere, but Alan Hanson just winked at him and hit a ball to the shortstop. Then the shortstop fielded the ball and threw it to first, but Alan Hanson was already rounding first! So the first baseman throws it to second but it was too late! So the second baseman tries to get ahead of Alan Hanson and throws it to home, but Alan Hanson stops in the base line and starts river dancing. The catcher didn't know what to think, so he chased after him and wouldn't you know, Alan Hanson backflipped over the catcher and somersaulted his way to the plate. Wouldn't you know, the men's Olympic gymnist coach was there, and signed Alan Hanson up and he brought home the gold for the USA. I was at that game!!
