  1. QUOTE (Fenway @ Jul 4, 2012 -> 09:31 PM) Can we have Youk back please? Um, lemme think about it.....NO!
  2. Well, that was certainly a fun game. Oh, and I hate Ron Washington.
  3. He was a true icon. May you rest in Peace!
  4. I like it!! Everyone I've shown it to likes it, too!
  5. Totally stupid. AJ should be the starting catcher, but of course with the moronic fan vote. He's screwed even before the voting starts. So no big suprise that he wasn't voted in but for him to not be selected, ridiculous. Wieters, less hits, less triples (haha), less hrs, less rbi's, way lower BA.

  7. QUOTE (South Side Fireworks Man @ Jun 29, 2012 -> 09:28 PM) Keep him. AJ should finish his career with the White Sox and remain part of the organization after his playing career is over.
  8. QUOTE (Harry Chappas @ Jun 29, 2012 -> 08:35 PM) How did Septimo look? Ask Teixeira, A. Rod and Cano.
  9. QUOTE (CanOfCorn @ Jun 28, 2012 -> 10:07 AM) Don Grady, Robbie Douglas of My Three Sons and a Mouseketeer, 68: Do-do-do-dooooo... Don Grady played drums with a band called Yellow Balloon who had a top forty hit called "Yellow Balloon". The flip side of "Yellow Balloon" was "Noollab Wolley", "Yellow Balloon" played backwards. Ah, the 60's.
  10. QUOTE (Yoda @ Jun 29, 2012 -> 09:43 AM) Kevin Youkilis Still looking odd to see that name in this thread. I'm going with Rios.
  11. I thought Jeter's ball was gone.....yikes!! WAY TO GO WHITE SOX!!!! Pretty decent start for Axelrod.
  12. QUOTE (Andy the Clown @ Jun 27, 2012 -> 04:30 PM) Septimo's stats suggest someone with control problems... I saw a lot of him in spring training and I can confirm that. He was brutal. It has surprised me that he's done as well as he has at Charlotte. I know spring training stats don't mean much of anything but I saw him struggle with his control big time. I hope he's made good strides, as it seems maybe he has. I'm going with Veal.
  13. QUOTE (Hawk09 @ Jun 27, 2012 -> 03:38 PM) Listening to Bernstein on the Score right now he said when he heard about Ohman leaving that there will be plenty of guys around the Sox that will not be sad. Said the word around the clubhouse was that Ohman was way too cocky for a guy who sucked as bad as he did. So,this comment from him really does ring true...he thinks he is super, and the Sox have treated him unfairly.......goodbye,Oh-man,and good riddance. Yep. Bottom line: 6.41 E.R.A. That ain't doing your job very well. See ya, Will.
  14. Zach Stewart and Will Ohman off this pitching staff in the same week. It's all good.
  15. I have to be perfectly honest. First of all, Ohman just simply was never very good. I was angry with him a lot. The guy's sole purpose was pretty much to get get lefties out and I never thought he did that very well, especially when it was crucial. That said, I have met him and he's a nice guy. It's hard to hate on a guy when you've met him and he's a nice person. I'm however, not sorry to see him not be a member of the White Sox bullpen anymore. I hope he catches on with another American League team so we can kick him around.
  16. QUOTE (RZZZA @ Jun 27, 2012 -> 02:13 PM) Holy hell, I just noticed the Mets are whupping the Cubs 16 to 1. Wow Despite the new savior, Anthony Rizzo?! Tsk, tsk.
  17. QUOTE (GoSox05 @ Jun 27, 2012 -> 02:04 PM) I hate upside down Will Ohman. Side note. Does Chris Sale start the all-star game? I hate right side up Will Ohman.
  18. I do hope someone is loosening up. Just in case.........
  19. QUOTE (thomas_35 @ Jun 27, 2012 -> 01:46 PM) i don't think it's anything to worry about. his job was to throw strikes with this lead. sh*t happens, opposing teams hit HRs. the WIN is what matters, along with winning the series. The Voice of Reason. No big deal.
