QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Jul 10, 2006 -> 05:03 PM) Rumor has it that you got ditched. Shame, shame on you... :headshake LMAO!! QUOTE(illinilaw08 @ Jul 11, 2006 -> 11:54 AM) Yeah, I know... the first comment should have been in green to portray just how high up the seats I had were, and to reflect my disdain that Krush decided to take the 100 level tickets instead of sitting in the top of the 500 level. He didn't have 100 level tickets... he snuck in!!!!

QUOTE(LosMediasBlancas @ Jul 11, 2006 -> 01:40 PM) I'm not convinced it's him, but it could be. It's him. There and Melvin's are his favorite places. There alllll the time.

QUOTE(mreye @ Jul 11, 2006 -> 10:25 AM) I figured you would, but how many people do anymore? It's not THAT difficult... Actual on an open, 10+1 on a spare, and 10+2 on a strike.

Who knows.. but one thing for sure... he was nuts.

QUOTE(fullcollapse @ Jul 10, 2006 -> 05:05 PM) as far as strike outs, K is the stardard for looking, backwards k is strikeout looking. i know there are a few places online i have seen with scoring directions... i'll look for them. there a few standards, but otherwise it seems like everyone has their own way of filling out a score card How many different ways are there to score a base hit, fo, go, fc, pu, bb, sb, sf, and hr...??

I got a 32. Some of the ones I was soooo sure of, were wrong, and a lot of them I was shocked I knew.

QUOTE(redandwhite @ Jul 10, 2006 -> 12:43 PM) It's closer than you think, Fenway is ridiculously priced. I'm aware. But having gone to Boston last year - paying airfare and accomidations, it's not even close. QUOTE(LosMediasBlancas @ Jul 10, 2006 -> 01:53 PM) I used to think I really hated Red Sox fans, then I realized all the reasons had nothing to do with Red Sox fans. Everyone I met in Boston and at Fenway was cool, knowlegeable and very interested in Chicago. Before last year I would totally agree with you. We had the absolute worst time in Boston last year. They took "our s*** don't stink cause we're the world champs" way too far. This weekend I did not meet ONE person from Boston. Plenty from "Lakeview" though. :rolly

QUOTE(LosMediasBlancas @ Jul 10, 2006 -> 03:52 PM) Hey, I'm not the geek that scores the game instead of watching and enjoying it. I was just asked for help. I'm with you there. Keeping score never held my interest. I will keep score for my geek friends when they need a bathroom break (southsider and wilkins - LMAO). But I don't keep score for me.

QUOTE(LosMediasBlancas @ Jul 10, 2006 -> 03:26 PM) :finger Someone I know recently has started filling out score cards at the game and then brings them to me, like I know WTF I'm doing. Is there somewhere on line that actually shows you a filled out score card like the one you get at the park? Oye.. you are hopeless. Generic directions are ON the scorecard itself.

QUOTE(LosMediasBlancas @ Jul 10, 2006 -> 02:13 PM) where'd you find that? Link? Thx! Box score lazy ass..

QUOTE(redandwhite @ Jul 10, 2006 -> 10:46 AM) Three times face value at the Cell, plus a plane ticket both ways, isn't much more expensive than parking and seeing a game from the lower level. Not quite.

QUOTE(SoxFan76 @ Jul 10, 2006 -> 09:19 AM) Somebody will have to check my numbers here, but I BELIEVE 28,000 tickets are sold for every game through season tickets alone. So the amount of visiting fans for any team cannot be that high. With Boston fans offering to pay TRIPLE face... many ST holders gave up their seats.

QUOTE(Rex Kickass @ Jul 7, 2006 -> 10:24 PM) I've found the quality on Sirius' music stations to be subpar in comparison with XM. XM on many of their channels does at least have some on-air personalities rather than the radio jukebox that most of Sirius channels have been - at least as far as my limited radio experience has been. If what I listened to radio for was just music - I'd probably go satellite - but I'm one of those dorks who listens for a total package. It's not enough to have music, I need a personality to bring it all together. When I find it, I listen to it all the time. When I don't, well I use my CD player more and more. Total personal pref. I can't stand the talking so I'd rather hear all music. I go from one extreme to the other as far as listening to music. Sometimes I buy a CD and love it so much it's all I listen to for weeks. Drives Jim nuts. LOL.

QUOTE(Brian @ Jul 7, 2006 -> 11:16 PM) I liked the scene to "Sussudio". Would of been better if the two women were more attractive. "Sabrina.. don't just look at it.. EAT IT!!"

QUOTE(WhiteSoxfan1986 @ Jul 7, 2006 -> 04:37 PM) Yankee stadium was loud as hell ^^^ Totally agree. And it's louder when they are losing! I couldn't hear my cousin sitting next to me without her yelling.

QUOTE(Brian @ Jul 7, 2006 -> 12:49 AM) If I was more awake, I'd type the whole rant on Huey Lewis and the News. It's a little new age for my taste. " Do you like Huey Lewis and the News? Their early work was a little too new wave for my tastes, but when Sports came out in '83,I think they really came into their own, commercial and artistically. The whole album has a clear, crisp sound, and a new sheen of consimante professionalism that really gives the songs a big boost. He's been compared to Elvis Costello, but I think Huey has a far much more bitter, cynical sense of humour." "Is that a rain coat?" "Yes it is! In '87, Huey released this, Fore, their most accomplished album. I think their undisputed masterpiece is "Hip to be Square", a song so catchy, most people probably don't listen to the lyrics. But they should, because it's not just about the pleasures of conformity, and the importance of trends, it's also a personal statement about the band itself." And while the Huey Lewis bit is great.. nothing beats the first 5 minutes of the movie... "My name is Patrick Bateman. I am twenty-six years old. I live in the American Garden Buildings on West Eighty-First Street, on the eleventh floor Tom Cruise lives in the penthouse. "I believe in taking care of myself, in a balanced diet, in a rigorous exercise routine. In the morning, if my face is a little puffy, I'll put on an ice pack while doing my stomach crunches. I can do a thousand now. "After I remove the icepack, I use a deep pore-cleanser lotion. In the shower, I use a water-activated gel cleanser, then a honey-almond body scrub, and on the face an exfoliating gel scrub. "Then I apply an herb mint facial masque which I leave on for ten minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine. "I always use an after-shave lotion with little or no alcohol because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older. Then moisturizer, then an anti-aging eye balm, followed by a final moisturizing "protective" lotion..." QUOTE(LosMediasBlancas @ Jul 7, 2006 -> 08:56 AM) That film has a LOT more female fans than male fans. Not sure why that is, but that is amazing to me. Because it gives validation to the thought that all you guys have a bit of loon in ya.

QUOTE(StrangeSox @ Jul 7, 2006 -> 02:09 PM) Well, to be honest, the sports, news, and talk don't interest me too much so I don't really miss them. I wonder why they don't broadcast them online? I've jumped around channels, and I'll occasionally wander on down to UG. I guess I was a little harsh on Sirius, but I am disappointed in the repeats. Its not enough to make me stop listening for free, but it hasn't convinced me to start paying $10 a month once this free period runs out. I can kind of relate. I listened to the music a bit when I first got it before Howard switched over and the channels I listened to I found I was hearing a lot of the same stuff. But now with Howard and the comedy channels and the Playboy channel (hummana, hummana... ) I rarely listen to the music channels so when I do it's less repeats. Additionally, I have both Sirius and XM, and the music choices/selections on Sirius are way better than XM. XM's nitch is baseball. They have made a killing with it and I love it because if that alone.
