  2. Did anyone see that ball bounce between Nevin and Walker while they just starred at eachother? That was hilarious.
  3. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Jun 25, 2006 -> 03:27 PM) The thing that bothers me is some people's obvious ignorance to the numbers. We're now 76 games into the season meaning there's 86 games remaining in the season, inorder to win 90 games the Tigers need to win only 39 more games, that means they can go 39-47 the rest of the way and still get to 90. In order for the Tigers to win 95 games they only need to play slightly above .500 ball the rest of the way at 44-42. If people really don't think the Tigers can go 44-42 in their final 86, they're kidding themselves. There's no denying the numbers, especially when you consider the separation that the Tigers and Sox are getting right now from everyone else. What I'm interested in is whether the Tigers can win a playoff series. Right now I don't think they can when they face good pitching. They've made a good number of comebacks in the late innings, which says a lot about the team, but good pitching staffs can shut that down.
  4. During the golf tournament they said that 43% of the country will see the Marlins and Yankees. The rest will get the Sox.
  5. BTW, today was the 18th sellout of the season, tying the White Sox record set last year. That's incredible.

    Crede's homer happened so fast, and looked so similar that at first I thought it was a replay. Owned.
  7. I've been to four games this year, and for the last three, the crowds have been awesome. They aren't just big crowds, but they're into the game and they are loud. The only game the crowd wasn't into was the second game of the season against Cleveland. That wasn't a good game.
  8. Ranger talking to Thornton Feels he continues to get better. Cooper told him to make his stride as long as he can. That's been the major change and has been the most important thing for is career. Relies on his catchers in big situations because he can't always tell what's been working all game against good hitters. Stay around the plate and attack the hitters. After Jose Molina hit a homer off of him, he started to throw the fastball up and making the curve go into the dirt to make sure guys swing over it. The pen is starting to come together after a tough streak, but things are starting to get better.
  9. Awesome win. That game turned around in a hurry. The Cards are due for a win tonight.
  10. Double for Mack. Hit it off the dirt practically, AJ coming up.
  11. Well if there are men on base and Ozuna is up, he can make something happen.
  12. QUOTE(beautox @ Jun 24, 2006 -> 03:17 PM) Pablo Ozuna reporting for duty Sir! That's amazing.
  13. Crede with 3 grand slams this season? That's awesome.
