  1. I am pretty sure that Willie will be our 2nd baseman. When he played there the last couple games before we got Alomar he played really well.
  2. You are probaly right. But don't stop voting.
  3. Haven't counted but it is atleast 20-25
  4. I am voting for Jenkins. He has been a monster from the left side this year

Dusty said that he hadn't seen Dontrell pitch yet and thats why he didn't pick him. What a stupid excuse

    Thanks
  8. Would someone post a link to it
  9. I wonder if Everett got on these guys and told them in a unkind way that he did not waive his no trade clause(probaly could have gone to another team if he wanted to). to come lose to the D-rays.
  10. I agree with Wilbon(add Kornhiser to that, they aren't only great talk show hosts but great writers also). But Lupica is annoying and don't like him as much.
  11. Yeah....... like beating teams who are worse than we are. Ugly weekend guys. We're still gonna win the Central though! I hope they come out and play the way they did today against the Tigers. Even though Tigers might be the worse team ever they play hard every game and make it tough for a team to beat them.

I just don't see Lowell getting traded. He is to much of a fan faverite down in South Florida. And if they trade him they might as well contract themselves because no FANs are going to come. There lies the contradiction in your statement... There are already no fans going to Marlins games. Trust me, the few that do won't stop coming because they lose Mike Lowell. You make a good point there.

I would love to see it happen. Just see it as to much of a risk for the Marlins to trade him.

Who are you thinking about. I would love to have Lowell but doubt the Marlins are going to trade him.

Well if he is stupid enough not to notice thats the only way he will be able to get a bat and a chance at the playoffs then thats fine but as of right now they aren't going anywhere with that lineup.

Well, the O's are SOL then. Crede isn't going to be traded for Ponson, I can tell you that right now. Exactly, the only way we trade Crede is if we get a 3rd baseman back in return.

If we could trade Lee and a prospect to the Dodgers for Ashby and Mota I would defenaitly do it. Gives us a veteran pitcher(who has pitched in a world seris) and a young guy in the bull pen.

I think if we traded for Ponson, Lee would be the one who would have to go. 1st he is almost the same player as Frank, Daubach, and Konerko, meaning they are all 1st base Dh types. 2nd his contract is up meaning he will probaly go to arbitration and demand about 5-7 mil a year witch IMO is a little to much for him. 3rd, the O's or even the Dodgers will be looking for a power hitter for the middle of the lineup. Well you may ask why not trade Konerko, well its because as we know Konerko has sucked most of the year and I doubt that we could get anything good for him in return. Yes I know Lee is a favorite(one of mine 2), but to me he is or biggest tradding commidty at the big league. Something that the O's would want back
  20. True, but remember Ponson usualy would have to go up against the other teams 1 or 2 all the time. With the Sox he would be going up against the other teams 4th and 5th guy every outing.
  21. He did that because he thought the pitcher plunked him on purpose.(Jose hit a homer off him earlier in the game). So this was Jose's way of getting back

Why would it have been JM's fault. He was in the clubhouse watcvhing the game because he was thrown out.

Yeah he pitched well last night.
