Chicago's Bruce Levine - Has Inside Information
Thats what i said earlier. Rowand and a prospect for a better CF would work for me! Well it looks like I kinda of guessed right. I just hope Everett welcomes the trade and stays out of trouble. I just question if he would be able to play CF. If he can't as of today he is an upgrade of Daubach at DH.

Interesting Trade Idea..
Don't forget Wunch, when he comes back he will be used a lot.

I think Podsednik, Wilson, and Bradley aren't avaibe because their teams like them in CF. I could see Mora, Kotsay, singleton, Everett, coming here. But I doubt we try and get lofton Beltran is out of it right now.

Art Howe on Alomar
He had some good comments saying that Alomar gave him all he had and played hard every game. I got this from MSG

Well that trade would have happened if the Braves didn't offer Moss

Beltran maybe Singlton Kotsay acording to winning ugly I think Higgenson could play CF Jermey Burnitz is playing CF but I doubt we would make 2 trades with the same team on the same day Melvin Mora maybe Carl Evevertt has played CF Thats all I can come up with.

What Gammons has to say. He didn't say anything more except that we would get a Bat. This time it sounded like it would happen

It could be Singleton, but to me it sounded like it would be someone bigger than that. Gammons will be on ESPNEWS again today at 6:40 eastern time.

I highly doubt it. Just so you know that were names I threw out not Gammons, so I doubt any of those guys get traded to us.

I disagree with you here, give Gammons credit he talks to all og the GMs so I think he knows his stuff.

No way the sox trade for ANY of those players. Probaly right, but you never know. The only reason I listed their names is because they are rumored to be traded. The reason Lowell isn't on there is because the Marlins came out and said that he WON"T be traded

I wouldn't say that. He was the 1st to report that we had intrest in Alomar.

He said it could happen tonight.

Players who could be traded to White Sox.(all guess on my part nothing from Gammons). D. Young of the Tigers(Doesn't make since because he is just like Daubach, Lee, and Thomas. But he is avaible). Bobby Higgeson also of the Tigers(They would have to pay his salary, but it would give us power from the left side and a guy who could play CF.) Juan Gonzalaz(Again doesn't make since but is avaible) Carl Everett(LH power bat to play CF)

Gave you all the details he gave me. He said this on his afternoon show on ESPNEWS with Brian Kenny. Where Brian asks him questions about things happing in baseball. Like I said he hasn't said who the player will be just said there could be a trade.

Tonight. And guess what it would be for a bat not Weaver. He wouldn't say who it was(He reported it on ESPNEWS) but he said a deal might happen

Very important
No one is saying that. We are saying you can't hold a prospect that hasn't proved anything in that high of a standard. Until he does something in the Majors all he is a prospect. So in our oppionion you can't hold on to a prospect just because he has a chance to be great. Especially when you can get a hall of famer
-
The only thing I will miss...
With his salary I highly doubt someone will pick him up.
-
Very important
And if he does make the majors how do you know that he will be any good.
-
Guys
I don't think Pierre will be avaible at anytime this year. Plus I don't see the marlins trading anyone till atleast they are 5-10 games below .500

The Roberto Alomar Fuck Yes Thread
Today it sounded like he thought Koch was the closer. He said that he was happy that he was 9 for 9 in his last 9 save opportunities. And he has confidence in him even though he is wild.
