  1. I doubt we would be able to get Lawernce. According to ESPNInsider, the pitcher the Pads are tring to trade is jarvis.
  2. 1st I'm 16. not a big deal to tell IMO. Braves stadium is alright, it looks ugly from the outside(and food area), but once you get into where all the seats and playing field are it looks a lot better.
  3. I have never been to a Tides game. And I rarely go see the Braves because well they usualy suck. The only time go watch them is when the Knights are in town.
  4. You ever go to any R-Braves games. Maybe we could meet up one day when Charlotte plays and go see a game. I literally live right behind the stadium.
  5. Yep, lived here for about 4 years. Before then i lived in Sussex County which is about and hour from Va beach. But like I said it rained here all day yesterday. I am sorry you missed your game, because Camden yards is a nice ball park. I saw my 1st game there in 1995 against the Sox. The only problem was that we sat in the very top row and all the players looked like the little grean plastic army men.
  6. I think they take Yan over Webster because they need a 2nd baseman more than an outfielder.
  7. Roman the wheater in Richmond yesterday was awful, it would rain for about 45 minutes then stop for 5 then rain for another 45 minutes. I don't know about B-more but if it was anything like it was in Richmond I can see why they canceled the game.

    PAULLY!

You can't take Lee out of the lineup. He was one of our top hitters over the month of June. We need to keep Everett in CF, for atleast a week. See IMO he needs to get a feel for CF again before we can judge his play(I don't think he played many games there over the last 2 years).

Keep Everett in CF but consider Rowand or Harris for late inning defensive replacements. I agree with that.
  10. Again he is only playing A ball right now. Yes he may have 5 tools but so did AL Martin, Jay Peyton, and Alex Escobar. My point is 1st let the trade go down, and if it does go down stop the crying over an A level prospect who hasn't done a thing in the majors. Yes he may have talent but until he shows something in the majors he will always be a minor league.(Not saying he will be one)
  11. He isn't gone yet. And the Rangers really don't need another bat. So I would not be suprised if they DON"T pick him

Even though he sucked tonight in CF(Very slow looked like he was running in quick sand) he was tring his best to get to every ball. That one ball Hunter hit that carl had to come in on if he was just one step faster he would have made a great catch. The question is if you don't play him in CF who does Rowand or Harris replace in the lineup. Daubach(homer 2 straight games), Everett(Our only person with power from both sides of the plate), or Lee(Our best hitter that past 2 to 3 weeks) So IMO we need to keep him CF.
  13. Well I guess Jason was wrong. Alomar got on base 2 times from the right side today. Once on a hit another on a walk. Both off 2 of the best lefty relievers in the game. Eddie Guardado one of the best lefty relievers? He threw 4 pitches that landed about 350-400 feet away, and 2 of them stayed fair. He is shaky, at best, and I don't want him coming in for me in a big game situation. Good, yes....one of the best? I'd much rather have Marte, Rincon, Remlinger, Myers, Groom, et al....coming in for me in a big situation. Before tonight he was 20/21 in save opportunities. I say that is very good.
  14. One thing to remember about Ponson is his recent blow up in the O's dugout. So a trade for him would not be very suprising.

    Alomar's opinion

Exactly, JM was mad because the umpire changing his call from fall to homer.
  16. Today our Relief was very good. 2 runs over 8 innings not bad IMO.
  17. Well I guess Jason was wrong. Alomar got on base 2 times from the right side today. Once on a hit another on a walk. Both off 2 of the best lefty relievers in the game.
  18. I picked CF, but I think he will play all 3, and maybe even some RF.
  19. My whole point HSC, how are you supposed to like a place when you are called a discrace before you even start playing.
  20. Mets play-by-play man Gary Cohen, speaking on a Chicago radio station Tuesday, called Alomar "a disgrace from the day he arrived." This to me is unprofessonal, Play by play guys have knowq right to rip players after they are traded away from the team. And the worse part about this is that he tried to do it on air during there game yesterday. Before the game started when the anoucers are talking about the pitchers and stuff(7:00 to 7:05), he came on and said something rude and unprofessonal about Alomar. Luckiely his partners stopped and said that new York wasn't the right place for him, tring to be as professonal as they could.
  21. Another team that may have some intrest in PK is the Dodgers. They need a bat, even though one of there best bats is playing the same postion as PK(McGriff)
  22. I think if we don't resign Alomar, Harris becomes our 2nd baseman. He has played some very good defense there the past couple games.
  23. The only reason they are projecting this is because the 4 BBTN guys thought Thomas was hitting 2nd tonight because he hit the homer with Harris on base. When all they had to do was look at the screen and it showed clearly that there was an out and it was the 1st inning. So meaning Thomas hit 3rd. Thats the only reason they think he will hit 2nd
  24. That was supposed to be in green
  25. I thought Hahn was making these trades
