  1. Look, if the White Sox leave Chicago, expansion teams will be fist fighting to take their place ala the Cleveland Browns.
  2. I am not sure how they Bears giving up 52 is on the QB, but sure
  3. Big picture, the Bears are in a horrible division to make the playoffs out of, and these first two weeks have shown why. GB is a Super Bowl threat while Minny and Detroit are probably playoff teams. The Bears feel "better", but there was always a gap between them and the other 3.
  4. Not gonna lie, I spent a lot of timing downplaying his season as a result of being pushed harder than he has ever been pushed before, and it isn't hard to imagine the knee problems being a result of that. It's tough to adjust from being a glorified long reliever to pushed out as a real starter if you have never done it before. I am not surprised this year was a struggle. I will look a little harder at the panic button if this carries into 26, but I am currently less worried about Dutch than I am Smith.
  5. So you ignored the full season numbers where he is 2nd in MLB, narrowed it down to a sample size that fit the narrative and declared victory, even tagging me in a separate post to do so. Yeah, sure. Calm down buddy. My analysis is full season > September. The kid made a massive leap from being buried in the minors and on the roster by over the hill utility guys, to one of the Sox leading power hitters. Dude turned himself into the conversation as a playable starter somewhere despite his actual biggest flaw, his glove.
  6. That's some high school level cl9ck management.
  7. You literally started name calling over an obvious comment. Stats exist because personal bias doesn't always work.
  8. The special teams are just awful so far
  9. The eye test isn't everything.
  10. Well that's less than ideal.
  11. No. We tried and someone's feelings were instantly hurt.
  12. I made the point that he and Jerry are the same people. Definitely nothing about Democracy, Socialism, or Communism.
  13. That was quite literally my succinct point, I just don't know what the long journey through forms of world government had to do with anything, but sure. Also Jerry is a huge real estate guy, and has also been sued for discrimination.
  14. Because Jerry, there's a guy who really cares about sports fans, and didn't literally make billions on the back of tax subsidies and free stadiums. Good lord.
  15. Assuming all goes right, yeah something like May/June seems on the if things go well side.
  16. And this is the team our attendance is on par with. Look, this is EXACTLY why Jerry wants to leave Bridgeport for the 78.
  17. And because this news is out there, it is begging MLB to get involved. It has happened before.
  18. Well, the biggest danger is that MLB invalidates the deal because it was reached illegally.
  19. I gotta say I do like that Sox staff is getting promotional looks, but I also can't help but remember the great Satan himself Rick Hahn also turning down GM interviews before he was handed the Sox job. I will also say that I know what we all think of Jerry, but the Orioles might be one of a couple of franchises run more poorly than the Sox right now. They had an obviously small window and just absolutely pissed it away.
