Bingo.

If Madrigal absolutely bombs, and no one else is able to step in at 2B in the next few years, while having someone push Moncada off of 3B, you can always move him back. meanwhile you now should have a guy that can play 2 premium positions.

I'd rather move him now than 2 or 3 years down the road when you can't afford a hole defensively at 3B.

Yeah, no. Anderson has gold glove tools at SS. There is no one else in the organization who should even be mentioned defensively with Timmy. Granted he has some work to do. but he has also made a lot of progress.

And yet, here you are.

And Madrigal is better suited than Moncada.

If they know that 2B isn't his future, why not have him learn now when his mistakes don't matter.

Well either the Sox are really playing their part well in saying they can move on without Machado or they know that their strategy of waiting out Manny has failed. Very soon we will know which it is.

But the cat said...

Worth mentioning here...

Gee, I wonder who it is ...

Remember when it was too late for other teams to enter this? That was awesome.

You can tell there is an ocean between us because there is definitely a salty smell in the air.

Report: Hansen has sore shoulder. Soxtalk: was the amputation successful?

Someone put this damned cat to sleep, please.

This reads as: It is last call time.

Anything for attention should be the title of this off season.

Man is that low.

I figured for a while he would be extended, but seeing the continued collapse of the free agent market, they would be fools to not let him hit the FA market and get 5he haircut on his salary post arbitration.

Rule #1 of stock trading, when a trade goes against you, double down.
