  1. I have never seen someone have the need to tell other people so aggressively to not care and to not have expectations. Cool, we get it.
  2. Look if your players can't get together on a popup, it is 100% coaching. Obviously the players are baseball stupid and never learned it, but still it is the responsibility of the coaches to teach it to them. For some reason we as a franchise seem to have decided to cede the development of our players to the players themselves, but this isn't how successful organizations run. There is a reason you see the Sox making the same mistakes over and over again, while other franchises don't.
  3. I honestly am impressed with the dedication to fitness for some of Soxtalk here getting all of these workouts in as watercarriers.
  4. This bunch of cowards would never, despite how much sense it makes.
  5. But what could we have done?!?! We just have to all be happy, and fall in line, and think all happy thoughts. Soxbots if you will.
  6. You want to get my attention? How about looking at a proven winner? https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/5806379/2024/09/30/sf-giants-farhan-zaidi-fired-buster-posey/
  7. Thanks for understanding the assignment and not taking this serious.
  8. I would settle for a true Soxfest Q&A as well. I know Jerry never would, but at least Getz and company should be up there.
  9. Yeah, this is where I am. There is accountability for a bad season, and then there is accountability for the worst season in major league history. Someone should stand up in front of a microphone and not only halfheartedly take the blame, while simultaneous trying to blame others, but should be forced to actually articulate something deeper than they are hiring. Does it make a difference? Probably not, but that isn't the point. If the Sox aren't willing to acknowledge the fanbase with any respect, I sure feel no need to treat them as a serious entertainment option.
  10. It's a joke for a franchise with essentially no payroll obligations going forward. We act like we are the Oakland As, except without scouting, player development, or savvy trades.
  11. Can I interest you in a formerly highly rated prospect experiencing failure?
  12. And laughingstock is one of the lamest descriptions of this franchise there is, especially because they are LITERALLY being LAUGHED at all over the place these days, becoming a butt of jokes from sports media to late night television.
  13. Weird that the Sox want to upgrade to a more profitable neighborhood, right?
  14. And honestly THIS is my favorite part. I am now up to 5 EMAILS from the sales department asking me if I want more information, but zero chances to ask for more information from the upper management who puts this product together. This franchise just continues to amaze me. We continue to be completely tone deaf.
  15. The law of averages only works if your independent variables are also average. Expected outputs drops with subaverage variables. The Sox showed this year the math still works fine.
  16. I too miss when everyone agreed with me. That was fun.
  17. This answer has been rejected as too hopeful and not realistic enough. Please try again.
  18. Bruce Levine hasn't been alive since 1987.
  19. I wonder if we will even notice that AI has been writing these for years for Bruce Levine?
  20. I am sad I missed this obviousness.
  21. What are you looking forward to this off season?
