I know we are in this feedback loop here, but the same stuff has been said over and over to Sox fans. We heard all this about Rick Hahn too. He brought in all of these great hires.n He's going to be able to things that Kenny was never allowed to do. He's got this great farm system. We've done it all before. You will have to excuse those of us who aren't contented by being force fed the same lines we have heard from decade, by the same toothless media who was saying the same stuff about the previous guys, until the coup and now they are all welcome their new alien overlords. I will believe it when I actually see results change.

Because the same lecture on how we should just be happy is way better.

I would much rather see my tax dollars go to educating the general public much better than it currently does, especially in critical thinking.

The circular logic is just wild. Everyone else failed. We never drafted anyone who could be developed, including multiple consensus top 10 picks, and every single draft pick after. All of the players we acquired from other organizations were either un developable, or Chris didn't have enough time with them... but the guy who had zero involvement in any of those failures learned them all well enough to know how to fix them all, mostly because he was the only one to ever ask for resources, and the notoriously high spending JR w as so impressed he threw everything at Chris and gave him everything he needs.

Funny how the guy who was in a so called "entry level position" was qualified to run an entire baseball franchise's front office operations after all of those failures.

The blame obviously goes exclusively to those who were fired.

I would put Toronto into that bucket, plus they have a giant Asian/Japanese/migrant population, friendly sports media, low pressure environment, and a willingness to spend money.

Seattle seems like a great first guess for non-huge markets because of a ton of advantages.

If he wanted that, why come to the US in the first place? And even if he did want it, there are plenty of lower pressure markets than Chicago, including many who can offer things like more money, a better team, recent integration and infrastructure for Japanese players, etc. Pretty much any selling point you can give for the White Sox, multiple other teams will easily beat.
