  1. Look at who the depth is beyond guys like Smith, Martin, Burke, et al.
  2. And some are already struggling with the load. Cannon is already down. Smith had a pretty significant fall off before his injury break. I expect it to only get worse too.
  3. Plenty of pitchers? In what world?
  4. His signing was a decent move. There was always going to be a lot of innings to fill. The idea that the pitching was too full was always absurd. In his case it just sucked that he broke right away.
  5. The break seems to have gotten him back on track, which makes me think fatigue.
  6. Some If's work harder than others. Yours is doing Atlas immitations.
  7. Let me translate. If you leave out the bad parts, they are somewhere between awful and mediocre.
  8. That IF is doing some HEAVY lifting, much like IF Southsider wins the powerball tonight, he will not go to work tomorrow.
  9. The rule of thumb is they belong to the previous regime, unless they are good.
  10. Hype them up all you want, but then don't come crap on someone else for sample size, when the someone you are hyping has a smaller sample size and not expect to hear about it.
  11. You know, most of the guys he was just taking credit for, while denying Vaughn 3 times.
  12. And Andrew Vaughn was one of those players. I know it isn't the focus you want right now, but it does matter.
  13. I am more concerned about his body of work in 2024 and 2025, but sure.
  14. Is it now if Andrew Vaughn is doing what he is doing in Milwaukee this quickly?
  15. I think a good question is once you get past the superficial stats, do the underlying stats support that conclusion. We can see what the last month has been for him, and it is largely supported by the underlying numbers. I would be curious if the 2024 bucket does the same.
  16. It's funny because there are also threads about Colson, who has an even smaller sample size here.
  17. Nah. I will be honest, I came to the rationale that whatever Andrew Vaughn needed, the White Sox were not able to give it to him, a while ago. It doesn't surprise me at all that he went somewhere else and succeeded. He always felt rushed and buried, and I don't know if it was a new messenger, or the quality of the message, but the talent is why a guy like that gets drafted where he did. Unlike guys like Anderson, Moncada, and Eloy who had nagging and nasty injuries that seemed to sap them, Vaughn never had that. Plus I hate that the White Sox do so much trashing of their players and ex-players, so good for Andrew.
  18. AND THEN you STILL need to go up stairs to your seat no matter where you are.
  19. Forget it, he's rolling.
