  1. That IF is doing some HEAVY lifting, much like IF Southsider wins the powerball tonight, he will not go to work tomorrow.
  2. The rule of thumb is they belong to the previous regime, unless they are good.
  3. Hype them up all you want, but then don't come crap on someone else for sample size, when the someone you are hyping has a smaller sample size and not expect to hear about it.
  4. You know, most of the guys he was just taking credit for, while denying Vaughn 3 times.
  5. And Andrew Vaughn was one of those players. I know it isn't the focus you want right now, but it does matter.
  6. I am more concerned about his body of work in 2024 and 2025, but sure.
  7. Is it now if Andrew Vaughn is doing what he is doing in Milwaukee this quickly?
  8. I think a good question is once you get past the superficial stats, do the underlying stats support that conclusion. We can see what the last month has been for him, and it is largely supported by the underlying numbers. I would be curious if the 2024 bucket does the same.
  9. It's funny because there are also threads about Colson, who has an even smaller sample size here.
  10. Nah. I will be honest, I came to the rationale that whatever Andrew Vaughn needed, the White Sox were not able to give it to him, a while ago. It doesn't surprise me at all that he went somewhere else and succeeded. He always felt rushed and buried, and I don't know if it was a new messenger, or the quality of the message, but the talent is why a guy like that gets drafted where he did. Unlike guys like Anderson, Moncada, and Eloy who had nagging and nasty injuries that seemed to sap them, Vaughn never had that. Plus I hate that the White Sox do so much trashing of their players and ex-players, so good for Andrew.
  11. AND THEN you STILL need to go up stairs to your seat no matter where you are.
  12. Forget it, he's rolling.
  13. I was literally at Disney World, and had just walked back into my hotel room from a day at Magic Kingdom. I kept trying to follow the game on my phone using my IP masker to try to stream it.
  14. But in the modern era, no one built a statue for 2012, where we were also in 1st place for almost the entire season before their collapse.
  15. I know Cleveland, Houston and the just recently deceased Arlington Stadium were street level entries for the top of the lower bowl.
  16. The other huge mistake that really contributes to the feeling of the UD being higher is you have to go UP to even get to the 100 level. Anything new seems to be an entrance at the TOP of the lower bowl, and going DOWN to box seats. Changing escalators multiple times to enter the BOTTOM of the upper deck to then hike UP 15 to 20 MORE rows in a sellout situation is just piss poor planning. Many UDs have some amount of seats down below the UD seating entrance so again it doesn't feel like all UP.
  17. I will never understand why Sox fans spend so much time caring about how much time people talk about the Cubs. It's such a weird flex. Me personally, I will take the rings, but I have also found it odd that such a weird love affair was given to a 4th place team from 1977 either.
  18. Well hopefully we aren't repeating the cycle of the dude being at 75% and running out there obviously injured like we have before.
  19. It's hard to argue with 3 championships and 5 pennants when that era made the playoffs only once.
