Buying stocks at 52 week highs after long slumps is a sound strategy. I just can't see the downside to extending perpetually injured pitchers who happen to be doing OK right now.

A .460 clip plays out to a 74.5 win rate over the course of a season, or around 75-87 for a record over a full season. Let's just keep it simple and say I don't buy it.

Yeah, when your team has won 10 of its first 38 games, it is an odd time to take a victory lap, especially when the lead MLB by a LONG margin for number of players rostered in those 38 games.
