  1. Which was never the Sox goal, and probably not the Bears either to be honest, though I have no idea what they are trying to do with pissing away all of that money in the burbs, only to come back and pony up $2b when they could have done that without losing money.
  2. The Bears are putting up $2 billion of their own money for this. I don't think they "won" the battle for public funding if that is the case.

    lol, no.
  4. Oh damn. Things just got a lot more interesting around Cease, Snell, and Montgomery.
  5. And yet here you are mad about it, every single day.

  7. You could work as a politician with a dodge like this.
  8. Wishing you had that Rodon extension? Maybe Giolito? Or Sale?
  9. I can't imagine knowing exactly what this team is going to be this year, yet spending any amount of time researching their spring training team stat rankings. Obvious stat is Obvious. Well no s%*#.

  12. There are some legit young guys in those buckets to where they are almost bonus points if they breakout. Obviously they could be doing better, but it feels like we are getting a breakout or two a year from guys who weren't top signings, which is a big thing down there. Really be nice if we start seeing similar from all of the pitchers and catchers we keep bringing in from Latin America.
  13. Well that in the 80's when I was down there, hitting them was the unofficial sport of the truck drivers...

Pretty sure I don't remember him on the invite list.
  15. The drive on 45 between Houston and Dallas used to be loaded with them, especially further north.
  16. I don't know what that means in terms of cap hit, but hopefully that cuts back a few million on the bottom line charge.
  17. The video was from 3 months ago. It was the only video I have seen showing him swinging the bat.,
  18. I know there aren't many more meaningless things than spring training stats from your stars, but I am also thrilled we didn't give Rodon his lottery ticket contract. It is going to be insanely awful for a guy who has never stayed healthy or consistent.
  19. And he looks tall, so he should be a star.
  20. DodgerTalk is probably losing their collective minds as we speak.
  21. Not going to lie, this is the leader in the clubhouse.
