  1. Sure, but there is only one Fields to go around in a league without enough QBs. Eventually someone has to know that if they step up they get him, and the longer they wait, the more they risk not having anything once the round of QBs ends.
  2. And when the Sox start regular season games, they will all be televised and replayed as well.
  3. If the 3 top WRs go, we already know the top 3 QBs at least will go early. That means we probably didn't see a run on the defensive players and/or the OTs. which wouldn't be an awful thing to pick at #9 either.
  4. It is probably got more to do with the teams ratings to be honest. There are always more broadcasts in years where there is more excitement about the team.

    So consistently bad?

That would be a terrible strategy in 2024. You need to keep as much talent in the system as possible, not win 65 games instead of 62.
  7. Despite the rage, that was the point of bringing in tons of shitty place holders this off season. Quit rushing kids and allow them to simmer as they need instead of putting them into bad situations they weren't ready for. Maybe not rushing the next Andrew Vaughn and forcing him into the OF as a lumbering ox allows him to at least learn how to hit first before being shoved into the majors. I have no idea how this will all end up, but there are at least a couple of signs that look better to me.
  8. In the AL Central? With a balanced schedule? Yeah no. 2, maybe 3 tops. Too many other huge spending teams to suck up those wins around the rest of baseball.
  9. A decent amount of this list would have been top 20 guys a couple of years ago. It is nice to see a building of some real depth in the system.
  10. You think the AL Central is going to field 4 ~> .500 teams in a single season with balanced schedules? I can't see that.

You think he is silently sitting out to force a trade?
  12. Colson was also a three sport all star, holding his HS basketball record in scoring all time, plus the QB leading his team to Semi State. He wasn’t a full time baseball player until 19 and was still a pretty raw talent when drafted, very similar to Tim Anderson.
  13. And the Sox using one pricing model all year. They aren't changing it upwards on any basis.
  14. I am hoping the Bears end up with my guy Braden Fiske. Awesome to see this kid destroy the combine. He's from my hometown high school and I know him.
  15. Then it is up to Getz to impress upon him that it's either do as he is told, or get fired.
  16. Don't waste time or money on the White Sox. Do something cool like hike in Red Rock Canyon!
  17. Bulls, Cubs, and Bears fans are a different breed than Sox and Blackhawks fans. The former show up no matter what. The latter, not so much. Almost every fan base shows up when a team wins. Obvious there are a couple of exceptions, but in about 95% of cases that is true. We can argue if that makes for "smart" fans vs "loyal" fans all we want, but the fact that it is true remains, and it is a factor in the stadium that JR is looking for today. His primary focus seems to be putting this stadium into a project which will serve as a bridge to the casual fan who doesn't give a s%*# what the teams record is to fill in the years where the park is half empty.
  18. Oh this would be an awesome twist.
  19. I can't think of many things that are a bigger waste of time right now than a Sox fan listening to sports talk radio on the Score.
  20. I will say this much. If Pedro really is as much of a dumbass as we all think, it is going to become a lot more obvious how bad he is when he is losing 3-2 games because of his mistakes versus losing 9-2 because his entire pitching staff and defense was trash and there were no good answers for either.
