They shopped around, compared lists and made out like bandits, while teams like the Yankees who believe price tag=World Series, were left watching the festivities on TV after paying nearly TRIPLE what the White Sox did. I really don't think that the Sox are afraid of Borass, I think they realize that he has lied to them in prior negotations, dragging their good name through the mud repeatedly, and just like someone who gets treated like crap in a certian store, they decided never to go back in there again to shop. They took their money elsewhere and did just fine.
