  6. Well if it is any consolation, I think you are a scumbag from knowing you, not from your tickets Yeah, I totally agree with a lot of what you said. The Sox for whatever reason do an awful job of communicating with the average fan. I would email something into Brooks Boyer and see what he saids about it.
  7. Thanks for making this post YAS, I thought I was going to have to make it again. Realize this. If Marte walks into a game with the bases loaded and no one out, with the Sox up one run, and he gets a double play ball, yet a runs scores on that DP, Marte gets credit for the blown save. Middle relievers, espesially Marte, who is a lefty, are used much more situationally than closers who walk into the ninth inning with no one on base. And as for getting the job done, this is my Koch analogy of the day. Remember Domino's 30 minute guarenteed delivery? By saying Koch's peripherals don't matter is like saying the dilevery guy could clip an old lady pushing a baby carriage on the way to his dilevery, BUT as long as that pizza was there in 30 minutes, the delivery was successful.
  8. That is a great commericial. Finally they are identifying with Sox fans and feeding off of that.
  9. I have no more interest in seeing that, than I would seeing a Rush Limbaugh movie about the crimes of Bill Clinton. It is all biased BS IMO.
  10. I want to amend that. It is soft-tossing righties that give the Sox fits. The Sox are a fastball hitting team, and hit fastball pitchers well. It is the guys who throw the outer half junk that kill our hitters. The Sox have a decent history against the Cubs big 4.
  11. Ah. I see, Silly Reagan family, deciding who should speak at Ronnie's funeral. How dare they.
  12. Wow, that was a pretty bad effort by Gload on that double.
  13. Your eyes are still working right As for good or bad, I'll leave that one alone.
  14. And only Burrell for the Phils. I wonder if it has ever happend that all starters on both teams got a hit in the same game?
  15. And rarely do I say this but DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMN
  16. Notes on MBs outing. He retired 16 of the last 18 batters he faced, only giving up a walk in a single in the last 5 1/3 IP after the crappy start.
  17. Uh guys, Frank didn't homer. The inning is over it is still 13-6 Sox.
  18. I think those two categories belong to Aparicio. Maybe even RBIs, but I am not sure about that one.
  19. Anyone think Frank will get 1000 XBHs for his career?
  20. Roberto Hernandez on for Philly.
