Monday Misc.
Just in case it wasn't clear... I am not asking for money.... just advice. And actually the problem you were talking about with all of the fund raisers that go on, is a problem that the group is running more and more into, espesially with unemployment and wages were they are in NW Indiana right now. Basically if you aren't working a $7 service job, you are either unemployed or very afraid of being unemployed.

Forgive, forget, or none of the above
I can't see how a Christian could be a serial killer

Monday Misc.
OK I'll start. Fund raising. I absolutely HATE asking people I know for money, even for a good cause. Our youth group bowl-a-thon is coming up, and I haven't been able to get myself to do anything for it. To any of those out there who do this kind of thing, how do you do it effectively???

Forgive, forget, or none of the above
Yes. And we even forgive you.

Sox getting some praise on national radio
His change of speeds and arm angles are nasty. Espesially the first times a hitter sees him, it will be a huge advantage to Shingo. I want to see him more, but I think that NY preformance was mostly nerves.

Corpseball
You guys are missing the forest for the trees here. Corseball was a mentality. You are always going to have mistakes. Even the best managed teams have them. This team is giving heart and effort. That is the point. You can nitpick all you want, but then this team will probably take an extra base while you are doing it.

Heck at this point the only "negative" I have seen in the pen is Koch. Takatsu looked light years better in his last outing. No one else really worries me at all.

Depends on whether you have a connection to God. There are a lot of "Chiristians" who aren't going to heaven.

Getting tickets to Tuesday NY Game
I think they are all night games.

Loaiza deals, Sox win 5-0
And Neal has looked much, much better this year already. His confidence has been great so far. I only hope they keep him stretched out enough to make him a starter.

Ken Rosenthal's Inside Dish
IMO you need that cerebral, deep thinking, level headed personality as a benchcoach. For whatever reason, JM had no people management skills what so ever. But as a benchcoach you only need to be able to be thinking something that the manager isn't, and be able to inform him.

Reed on ESPN Radio "Baseball Show"
KW was trying to trade him already. If he isn't dealt now, he is definately gone by the trading deadline.

Maggs/Tampa
I'm not worried about Maggs. He will be fine. Plus the sooner his deal gets done, the better.

Ken Rosenthal's Inside Dish
I absolutely believe that Baines was not a good choice as bench coach. He was one of my favorite players growing up, but that is a position that you need a ton of experience in. Actually the perfect guy for the job (and I am preparing for the assault) would have been Jerry Manuel.

CW is right. Biblically there is zero gray area on this one. Can't say that it is easy or that I am able to do it, but IIRC there is a bible verse that saids something to the affect of Don't let the sun set while still angry with someone.

Forgive, forget, or none of the above
The choice is pretty clear. Forgive and forget or go to hell.

How stupid can you be???

And start a melee with the Dodger bullpen...

Will someone please tell stupid Cub fans
Harry is one of their heros... no wonder they can't pronounce anything right. Too bad we can't hear him butcher Shingo Takatsu or Esteban Loiaza...

I didn't realize that Wunsch had started his rehab already. I wonder who gets sent out when he is ready?

ARod and Delgado are both notorious slow starters. I am glad we are seeing Alex now, and not in July. Greg Maddux is done.- Secret message makes it into new park
I prefer the Hoosier chapter of PETA. People Eating Tasty Animals.- Corpseball
It is dead. Ozzie will not let the carelessness of the previous regime go on for any length of time. This team hustles and makes it own luck. They bunt, they hit the ball the otherway to move over runners etc. They pressure the defense, and make the OFers make throws and plays. The old group waited for the 3 run homer, and that was it. Yeah it looked great on somedays. But it was horrible on just as many others The station to station days of Corpseball are gone. RIP - What is wrong
