Anyone Listen To Late Night WLS?
No wackier than Art Bell himself. My Grandma was was into that stuff, and she had some the craziest theories on that stuff.

Believe it or not, it is the same guy. Jeffries went to Fresno St. He must have gone for the bald look in college. http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/players/profile?statsId=3626

Player ratings
The Yankees first round pick plus a sandwich pick, I believe. But there are all kinds of comlications based on what other free agents that the Yanks sign as to who actually gets their first round pick, and who gets sandwich picks instead.

Illinois vs North Carolina Thread
Nah, I am from Indiana. Actually the Illini are one of my least favorite teams. I have a hard time keeping a favorite team because I follow a school more for their coach than for the school, its players, or its program. I have been a Pitino fan forever so I am a Kentucky fan (even though he is gone, I still follow them), also I know Steve Alford from where I went to college so I follow Iowa too. I am an Indiana University fan a lot more so now the Mike Davis is in charge. But I am a Big 10 and MidMajor fan above all else.

Illinois vs North Carolina Thread
I saw Sean May as a sophomore in HS and he was a monster. I can't wait to see how he has progressed. Back then I remember how soft his touch was from the outside, much like his dad was at IU back in the day.

What would Greenpeace say about all you tree murders... for shame

Illinois vs North Carolina Thread
For star power it is hard to beat Carolina with May, Felton and McCants, but the thing that will kill them is their depth. If the Illini can muster some sort of a post up game to get some of the Heels into foul trouble, they could own this game.

Michael Thompson leaving Duke
The former Joliet basketball star is leaving Duke and transfering somewhere else. Has anyone heard rumors of where he might land, or where he had considered before chosing Duke?

Sorry DBaho, I just got Khab and I don't think I am going to trade him unless I get an irresistable offer. Dunham and Nurimen are both on the blocks though.

Bulls
Things I learned last night... #1 Jamal Crawford is not a point guard. As much as they want him to be, he is definately a scoring guard, who is much better when he doesn't have the responsibility of ball handling #2 Crawford and Hinrich is a great combo. Where one is weak the other is strong and it makes for a good backcourt. They do seem to feed off one another. #3 Williams is a great spark plug. It is a perfect guy for Eddy Curry. This guy leads by example, where as Charles Oakley lead by attitude, which didn't work at all. #4 Not sure if this was Skiles or not, but the Bulls didn't panic when they got down big early. They were down 10 pts quick last night, and it didn't phase them at all, where lately they have just given up. #5 Scrapping the Triangle will be a huge bonus for this team. They are too young and athletic to need to run such a complex and structured offense. They need to get up and down the floor.

Packers vs. Bears Part 2
Gut feeling is that Farve will tear up the Bears just like he always does. My heart tells me that the defense is playing incredibly better espesially against the run, and Farve's broken thumb has really seemed to be affecting his play.

Good, that means he isn't signing with the Cubs.

Ah. MHS played more of the smaller FW HS's and the Christian HS's such as Dwenger and Homestead.

First JV game tonite...
I went to college at Manchester (south of Warsaw) and grew up in Michigan City. Which HS did you go to?

First JV game tonite...
It should. That was the guy that hit the huge 3pointer to push Valpo U to the upset win in the NCAA tourney 4 years ago, to one of the best finishes in the history of the NCAA tourney. He played for your very own Chicago Bulls. His dad Homer Drew is the long time coach of Valpo U, and his brother went down to take over as his brother Scott Drew went down to rebuild the Baylor U program after the tragic happenings there
