So Hendriks either isn't available or they are saving for a save situation. Graveman must be also not available, or being saved in case Hendiriks can't be used. Ruiz and Banks already are used. After that, who do you have pitch the 9th in a tie? Sousa? Foster? ReyLo? Brutal.

In general I am against Moncada going back to 2B because I don't want to see two defensive positions weakened at one time, but Moncada at 2B is a WAY better idea than Vaughn there.

He still would have been testing it out to stay sharp and ready. He was going to run around the OF and take BP either way. The intensity would have been dictated by the injury, and in the cases so far, it has limited his activity.

Probably not, but we can try.

Look, I can handle him in LF, because kept simple, there isn't a lot of a chance for injury. But putting him in around the pivot at 2B just seems like an awful idea. I haven't seen anything that tells me he could handle the footwork enough to not get rolled at 2nd.
