  1. I wonder if the Sox take a shot?
  2. I will say this much. It might well be another false start, but yesterday that 5 run ninth was the first time all season I really saw some fight and fire from these guys while facing adversity. Sure they have had stretches where things have gone well, but it was the first time they have fought back after things looking bad. This team all year has rolled over and played dead at adversity. Hopefully it is a sign that something finally clicked yesterday.
  3. I think #1 is 100% Severino. The next one is tougher, but it almost has to be Mendick. Can't lose Burger yet until Yoan is back. Sheets is the only real lefty thump we have on the bench, and he has hit decent so far this year. You could go with a reliever, but Burr just got here, and you are already sending down a left in Severino.
  4. Yet, it's the same people, throwing the same temper tantrums every single day.
  5. If Eloy hits, he is well worth his numbers.
  6. He was a Cub fan trolling Soxtalk
  7. And this is one helluva offense he did it against.
  8. No, but I will keep it simple. We are a White Sox message board who doesn't want to be trolled by Cub fans. So anyways, it's been real.
  9. So for the record, I see your email address Mr. Cubster. If you are here to troll, you won't be long.
  10. This. The Bears were a disaster, and cleaning up after the mess needs to happen first. The trading away of picks especially last year was such an awful idea for a team that was no where close to anything notetworthy, and so thin everywhere.
  11. According to him, we should still be under covid lock down, or on a lockout, so yeah.
  12. If they get a Sale like return, it wouldn't be the worst thing.
  13. Of all the things you can call Madrigal, he is not a guy who takes walks. 34 bbs in 384 career PAs.
  14. Also thinking about this, I am pretty sure the Dodgers still have to "pay" Bauer, but then the fine just covers his paycheck, and that goes to MLB into whatever fund they have it designated as.
  15. There is no harder case to prove than a domestic one. 100% the "victim" is going to be put on the stand and interrogated just as hard as the "defendant" The conviction percentage here is ridiculously low for just that reason, and it scares DA's away from trying them. But that doesn't mean that MLB didn't see enough evidence in their minds as it isn't the same burden of proof for them as it is in a courtroom.
