  1. I am just glad their hitting coach finally decided to tell the fellas it was OK to take a walk.
  2. Unless you have evidence that someone is telling them to swing more, yes. It is on the players. I mean a coach can talk until he is blue in the face, but it is the players who go out and execute the plan (or not in this case). It isn't like it is unheard of for players to either ignore coaching, or not be able to adjust to changes suggested by coaches.
  3. The players are the ones putting up stats.
  4. I have yet to see anything that actually shows that. In fact his statements this year have been quite the opposite.
  5. How is this "clearly" on Menechino?
  6. In theory, the Sox at this point COULD swing a trade and pick up some percentage of his salary in exchange for more of less of a return for the Mets.
  7. Not sure who screwed up there, but going to guess it was Garfien.
  8. With Harrison over there, it is an interesting thought if we are talking about minimum wage. A lefty power bat too. The question isn't, is he prime Robinson Cano, the question is, will be be better than Josh Harrison.
  9. Is giving up something you don't really want a "sacrifice"? Unfortunately until the rest of the starters start to come back, we don't really have a choice.
  10. I wonder if the Sox take a shot?
