Except for Abreu, they were all hurt. Ironically enough, there was an article just yesterday that put Abreu 11th in all of baseball for effectiveness of driving in runs.

It shows the Sox had major injuries to the core guys who could have made this list. And this is a list of the best hitters in baseball by position. One dimensional is what this is all about.

Yeah, Happ can be left off, but Baez is a really good baseball player as well, and would improve the horrible IF defense a ton at 2B.
