  1. This should be an autofillin on Soxtalk for every time someone tries to send Andrew Vaughn to Charlotte.
  2. A lot of underground love for this kid.
  3. He has to be on the major league roster after spring training or he has to go through waivers.
  4. No one ever talks about Remilard, yet he keeps quietly creeping through the system.
  5. How much of that is legitimate, and how much of that is some pretty nasty injuries. https://dodgers.mlblogs.com/injury-update-cody-bellingers-rib-fracture-sends-him-to-injured-list-de47768dba8c
  6. It wouldn't be the worst thing in the world to bring him back. We are going to need arms this year. Granted we need other things, but if we can only make the finances worse, forget it. Go to war with a superpen and put pressure on Tony to figure how to use the guy.
  7. Do you need a driver to the airport?
  8. So is this Part 2, part II or Part 3, part I?
  9. Correct. So if you take something like Eloy/TA/Roberts deals, we will be getting much lower tax hit, than actual payroll number at the end of those deals. Technically it would allow us to overspend the tax number in actual payroll, without actually being over from a technical standpoint because the cap hit is the average of the deal.
  10. Yeah seeming teams like the Dodgers and Padres "suffer" like they have, it just amazes me when people talk about trading people for no good reason just because the roster is currently tight.
  11. Luxury tax payroll is based on average contract price, not on single year contract price. For example a contract that goes 2/4/6/8/ million gets a luxury tax of 5 million per season, and not the hit of the individual payroll numbers. With the Sox extentions weighting heavy at the end, we are still in the portion where the cap hit is bigger than the annual costs.
