Yeah I mean we all kind of thought they needed to be deeper, but when you look at the players we have lost, and the lengths of time we have lost them, yet here we are still in first place by 6 games... you can't really argue they weren't deep enough very effectively. It has been surreal to be honest. I said it in another thread, but if you told me in Februrary we'd be running an OF of Brian Goodwin, Jake Lamb and Luis Gonzalez, with guys like Jake Burger and Gavin Sheets also on the same roster, and giving Ryan Burr key set up man innings.out there at some point, I'd be asking how close we were to the #1 pick next year.

Eloy is exactly this. He is literally putting himself on the injured list on a regular basis because he can't play a defensive position. Jose Abreu plays a very good 1B. And again, Eloy doesn't have a choice. If he gets told to DH, he will DH.
