I am thrilled with the progress that Andrew has made this year. I was hoping he could give us an Eloy level of LF after literally having never played the OF before. It isn't hard to squint and see him being able to give you an average corner OF defense with a little more experience. That is a HUGE win, and it may also solve the whole 1B/DH jam by not having to force Vaughn into one of those spots.

I am referring to the cult like figure that Tony has apparently come so that no one matter what he has to say or do, the group defends him like they were his paid propaganda team. I am also referring to your personal attacks and meltdowns that follow anytime someone has anything outside of the safety circle to say about him. So if you want to call people names, that is one thing, but you should probably save your dignity in the process by attaching yourself to a more redeeming figure. If it bothers you, move along. If it bothers you enough to attack people personally for it, you are the one with the issue.

And here is the bigger issue. Let's take the cult at their belief that this isn't a residual shot at one of his players, or even a group of players. How do you make a statement like this mere days after being in a national controversy, and NOT realize that it sounds like you are taking a shot at your own player, again? If the argument is that he isn't going after his own player, he apparently doesn't have enough of a thought process to realize that this statement sounds EXACTLY like he is going after his own player again, and it isn't a stretch to be interpreted as such. So is TLR petty, or just completely out of touch?

Also funny to see all of the guys who run around saying the don't run around making every thread about Tony, here to make sure they make lots of posts about Tony. Not you of course, the other guy.

I feel bad for Grandal in this situation because the manager isn't backing up the pitchers at all when there is a bad strike zone, so it seems to come out more when Yaz is hitting than catching. I think he gets pissed that the strikes he gets while batting, are not the same as when he is catching.

Tony is still pissed about the backlash he got for this. But don't worry, there is nothing to see here. Comrade Putin told me it was OK, so it is OK.
