Baseball is all about the big picture. No one remembers if a team won on September 9th or August 24, but they damned well remember who won in October.

This is spot on. The Sox management went and got the best possible available player to fill a hole in the pen where the team had been having major problems with bridge work in the pen. There is a whole lot of revisionist history based on performance, but Sox management is trying to win. The same people who spent years bitching about the Sox being cheap are now upset they weren't.

Nice to see one actually stay fair this inning.

This is the first time in the 120 year history of the franchise that they will have made the playoffs in back to back seasons. It's the best teams we have had since the 05 to 08 stretch. If you can't enjoy this, you are doing it wrong.

I think a lot of the anti-vax conspiracy stuff got tested out in the 9/11 truther stuff. It was almost like a training in how to sell a message to the masses and how to find the things that work, and the things that didn't. It also has really helped that China and Russia have gotten way better at figuring out how to sell death to Americans as a patriotic thing, and a ton of Americans are swallowing it hook, line, and dewormer.

We see this every game with Rodon. His velocity is always low and lowest in the opening innings.
