  1. It's one of my single favorite sports hot takes. -THIS GUY SUCKS TRADE HIM!!! -If he sucks why does anyone else want him? -Well he could be good...
  2. There's our MVP thread creator. Hack Wilson, here he comes!
  3. Almost everyone one the pen has regressed this year.
  4. Screw WGN and their 15 second commercials for an 11 second video.
  5. Rick out here cleaning up after the earlier comments.
  6. If you use guys like Adam Engel and Leury Garcia correctly, it can be done.
  7. Seeing Vaughn out there, I don't think this is a stretch.
  8. And we didn't even get the overreaction thread this year. Growth is possible.
  9. Yes, he is sensitive. He blocks tons of people for disagreements.
  10. Lol, you have been all over these conversations LONG before you were mentioned, which is exactly why you got mentioned.
  11. Then why are you STILL commenting? You keep talking like this, yet are STILL responding to it.
  12. He's right though. its all stuff that has been previously said a million times, so while he might be frustrated with covering the same things over and over again, no one will blame him either. The whole "but you are a mod thing" is just a cop out.
  13. Vaughn back, TA and Nick hitting 1-2, and no Adam Eaton again. Lamb in RF.
  14. The funny part is until the last five days his OPS was .526, with a career .622 OPS. Did Tony not start coaching him until May 27th?
  15. Soxtalk sure thought so. Including 68% of the site picking them to win the Central, and over 60% of posters picking the Sox at 92 wins or more. About 75% at 89 wins or more
  16. Like I how he didn't mention that Tony has guys like Lance Lynn, Liam Hendriks and Michael Kopech.
  17. Let's be honest, there are enough TRULY BAD teams out there that as long as the White Sox can get fat on them, they should make the playoffs. I know we have had injuries, but the closest two ALC teams to us have also had some pretty major injuries and losses. I think we all knew coming into this season that this was the Sox division to lose, and we had more talent than the rest of the division. Now that the season has started, nothing has really changed there as all teams have taken a hit to their talent pool, it was just nice that the Sox were starting from ahead. But we all saw last year what can happen in the playoffs when the difference between the teams is much more even and little things make the difference.
  18. This right here. Leury is a great player to have off of your bench in 2021. In an era where teams carry a ton of pitching, having a guy who can stand in at 6 positions respectably is a big asset. He is just not a guy who want getting 500 ABs, but injuries to 3 of your top 4, and at times, 4 of your top 5 OFs will put your #5 guy into a starting role.
  19. All you have to is look at the order the were added to the active roster to know what the organization thinks of the players. Mendick will be the one to go once Engel is back, unless they move Eaton to the 10 day DL.
