  1. Giving away future pieces for a volatile piece is always a bad idea.
  2. Which is exactly why I am not giving up real talent for a guy who could suck the next day.
  3. The pen is fine for the most part, they just need to pitch like it. There are some electric arms out there. They just need to get through whatever is going on. The worst thing they can go is overreact to SSS and trade real talent for relievers.
  4. He was WAY over in right center when that ball was hit.
  5. Dallas answered questions too, and no asked him about the early exit either.
  6. "If you have no guts, get another job."
  7. Ozzie going off on one asking about Dallas. Called the media "soft".
  8. With the infield in, no one was getting to it.
  9. 8 game winning RBI this season, leading the AL.
  10. The part that won't get talked about is that was a great piece of hitting. That pitch had heavy cut, and Yermin did a great job of getting his hands inside of that so he didn't jam shot it to 3rd.
  11. Hopefully JR buys Yermin a new chain to celebrate his first career walk off hit.
  12. Being realistic, with a five run lead, you shouldn't be using Bummer, let alone in the 7th. SOMEONE has got to be able to get low leverage middle relief outs. Whether that is Heuer, Marshall, or Foster, someone needs to step up.
  13. Of course he is 8th in the single velocity incident rankings at 116.8m, so it is in there for sure.
  14. For reference point, over the same period of time Yoan went from 90.3 up until May 17, and May 18th til now he is 93.7
  15. What's wild is his season long exit velocity is barely over BIlly Hamilton and one of the lowest on the team. I wonder if it has to with his two strike approach weighting it down. Even Adam Eaton is 88.5 mph. Abreu is 92.3 on the top end, and Grandal with 93.2.
  16. What is interesting... season exit velocity 87.5mph Since May 18 86.2 mph Before May 18 88.0 mph. Not a huge difference in exit velocity, but definitely a drop off.
