Is this anything new with Mike North? Was it out of the ordinary? Not at all. He was right on point. Was he rude and crude and could he have asked the same thing in a nice and more friendly, respectful way? Of course, but that is not his deal. This was par for the course with him. Believe me, living in Nashville where 99% of the media wear cheerleading outfits for the Titans and the other local teams, I will take Mike North being rude once in a while when he is at least on target here. I doubt that Don was even surprised by this. Plus, when/if the Sox rebound, North will swing the other extreme and be their biggest fan.

Thoughts on the Jordan Tootoo hit on Mondano and then the suspension when he sucker punched Robidas in the face? They are crying like babies down here in Nashville about it. I think the 5 game suspension is about right. Tootoo needs to learn to turn the other cheek and be glad that he flattened Modano and drew a charge from Robidas. Instead, he will be hurting his team for the next 5 games. Reminds me of Chelios when he was with the Hawks, too many stupid mistakes.
