QUOTE (Chilihead90 @ Sep 28, 2013 -> 05:21 PM) The WR made the best play in the video. Hell of a catch, no doubt, but Winston made the play with his feet and then money on a 60 yard bomb. Here's the whole play: http://espn.go.com/video/clip?id=9738419&c=ncfhighlights 16/25, 320 YDS, 4 TD with 54 rush YDS. He's a freshman and he's leading the country in completion %. -

It took forever and a day, but there is finally a gym in my neighborhood. It sucks that it's a Planet Fitness, but it's cheap and it has all the equipment I want. Now that I'm back in Chicago, I have two different gyms which are very conveniently close no matter where I'm staying. In other news, the only workout supplement I am currently taking is regular whey protein shakes after a workout, but I want to implement something pre-workout. I normally have a big glass of iced coffee before hand to give ma bit of a caffeine boost, but do any of you use/suggest a pre-workout drink? I've used Assault by MusclePharm before and I liked that.

The Great Gatsby had me for the first half but the second half was dreadfully slow. I enjoyed the cinematography and imagery though. And despite the music feeling out of place, I liked it. Pain and Gain - LOVED it. Now You See Me - Really enjoyed it. Had me hooked the entire time. Not sure I love the twist at the end, but it had me thinking the entire time and there was some nice action in it too.

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Sep 25, 2013 -> 07:04 PM) Saw this on facebook. Don't know how true it is, but this would have been a much better ending. It would have been pretty solid. What DEXTER Finale was going to be from the producers - I think it would have been better! ================================= In the very last scene of the series, Dexter wakes up. And everybody is going to think, ‘Oh, it was a dream.’ And then the camera pulls back and back and back and then we realize, ‘No, it’s not a dream.’ Dexter’s opening his eyes and he’s on the execution table at the Florida Penitentiary. They’re just starting to administer the drugs and he looks out through the window to the observation gallery. And in the gallery are all the people that Dexter killed—including the Trinity Killer and the Ice Truck Killer (his brother Rudy), LaGuerta who he was responsible killing, Doakes who he’s arguably responsible for, Rita, who he’s arguably responsible for, Lila. All the big deaths, and also whoever the weekly episodic kills were. They are all there. That’s what I envisioned for the ending of Dexter. That everything we’ve seen over the past eight seasons has happened in the several seconds from the time they start Dexter’s execution to the time they finish the execution and he dies. Literally, his life flashed before his eyes as he was about to die. I think it would have been a great, epic, very satisfying conclusion. That was Clyde Phillips' idea. He was the former Executive Producer of Dexter for seasons 1-4. Here's the explanation from the actual producers: http://insidetv.ew.com/2013/09/23/dexter-i...-series-finale/

QUOTE (Chilihead90 @ Sep 25, 2013 -> 02:38 PM) I was hoping Dexter would end with him and Saxson in a room together at the police station, which did happen, but I was hoping that scene would include Batista and Quinn and Saxson would say something like "That b**** deserved to die" or something, and Dexter would flip out and start stabbing the s*** out of Saxson and kill him right in front of Batista and Quinn, and then that would somehow lead to Dexter either confessing that he was the Bay Harbor Butcher, and the show would either end with Dexter getting capital punishment, or him killing himself, or him escaping. But either way, I wanted Batista and Quinn to find out who Dexter really was.

Finally caught up on Dexter. I have to agree that the ending was rather disappointing. Of all the great storylines they've had, THAT was the best possible ending they could come up with?

QUOTE (DukeNukeEm @ Sep 23, 2013 -> 12:45 AM) Every time a 90's Lincoln dies a part of me dies with it. Detuned V8's, crappy slushboxes, staggeringly awful fuel economy and just luxo barge glory. How much would you want for it? As for replacement (as if there is any suitable replacement other than a Lincoln Town Car), the Grand Cherokee will do you just fine. Though I'd at least look into those unkillable K Chevys or a Ford Ranger as well. I do think the Grand Cherokee soiled the Jeep brand for personal reasons that I do not expect others to share, but I will admit it'll do pretty much what the Lincoln did without much fuss. Beware, its AMC engineered and Chrysler manufactured--but if it lasted this long to be put on the market you can.be assured its a decent machine. I'm shooting much newer, likely CPO. Ideal would be a 2010 or newer with less than 50,000 miles and 4x4 capabilities. And oddly enough, the gas mileage on the Lincoln was pretty damn good for a V8. She was primarily highway, and I got about 30 mpg on it. Just recently passed 200,000 on the engine too.

Outer tie rod end on my front passenger side tire snapped on me the other day. Thank God that it happened in a parking garage and not on the highway or something. Looks to me like the ole' Murder Mobile (96 Lincoln Mark VIII) is about ready to be put away for good...which means I am car shopping for the first time ever. It's exciting, yet daunting. Looking at Jeep Grand Cherokee's specifically. Debating on whether to buy used or perhaps lease a new one. Any tips/suggestions?

I've been on a scary movie kick of late. Watched The Strangers last night for the first time because people always praised it. It was ok, kinda creepy at times, but ultimately disappointing. In general, I've been disappointed with most of the horror flicks I've watched of late. The Conjuring was absolutely awful. I've heard Insidious was pretty good, so I might have to give 1 & 2 a shot soon. Any other suggestions?

QUOTE (Chilihead90 @ May 11, 2013 -> 10:18 PM) What are you doing in the press box? Radio play by play. Anyway, bought a replacement screen from blisscomputers.net, and found a shop that will fix it for $60. Thinking about just replacing it myself. Saw a youtube video and it looks pretty easy.

Brand new Mitchell & Ness #72 Carlton Fisk jersey, size 54.

Foul ball came through the press box window and destroyed the display on my laptop and now I need to repair it ASAP. It's a Samsung R580. Everything else works perfectly by the display is shattered and holographic. Anyone have any ideas? Geek Squad is going to rape me in fees.

I'd much rather have Ogletree than Te'o.

QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ Mar 5, 2013 -> 03:12 PM) My Samsung laptop won't recognize my iPhone anymore. Won't charge it, sync, nothing. Doesn't even show up as a removable device. Tried re-installing iTunes, restarting the computer, the phone, etc. Nothing works. I plugged it into an old desktop to see if it was the phone or cable and it worked fine. Any advice? Figured it out. Just uninstalled and reinstalled the driver on the USB port. Latest update must have changed some things.

Going to Savannah, GA for St. Patrick's Day again this year. I'll be down there the 12th through the 20th. Can't wait.

A little over a year ago, I was at 240 pounds and my goal was to get to 199, where I was my senior year of high school right before baseball season started. On February 7th, I reached that goal. It was an incredible feeling of achievement for me.

QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Jan 20, 2013 -> 02:46 PM) Kyle Beach is garbage, as is Rockford. They still play like a UHL team. That's just silly. There was a major discrepancy in penalties before this brawl happened, and it was a carry over with the ref from the last game he officiated when Rockford was shorthanded 9 times compared to getting 1 power play. That, combined, with the rivalry with GR this season, boiled over. -

Seven officially recalled from Rockford. Kruger, Leddy, Bollig, Shaw, Pirri, Saad and Stanton. Really happy for Stanton to get an opportunity in training camp. The lockout probably helped his stock within the organization. They got to watch him play a lot in person. Great stay at home d-man and an even better penalty killer. Unfortunately, there are 8 guys in front of him if you include Montador. Saad has been playing phenomenal of late. 4 point night on Friday and then follows it up with a filthy GWG on Saturday.
