QUOTE (G&T @ Jan 23, 2011 -> 03:35 PM) Might be the worst start one could have imagined. Did you watch the game vs the Patriots a few weeks back??? -

If the Bears don't select 5 offensive lineman in the next draft.... -

QUOTE (hitlesswonder @ Jan 22, 2011 -> 05:13 PM) Weber is the answer to both. I'm hoping Richmond transfers to a coach that can develop players. Illinois has a lot of talent but they are bubble team at best. QUOTE (hitlesswonder @ Jan 22, 2011 -> 05:36 PM) Was there ever any doubt that it was Sullinger? And by the way, who ever said McCamey was the best PG in the Big Ten...well, he's not in the top 3 (I'd take Lucas, Taylor and Battle first). Craft outplayed him today. Wow. -
Big time 4-1 win vs the Red Wings. Corey Crawford has been phenomenal.

Macy's FTW. Got a sweet Tommy Hilfiger suit for $270. They had massive sales. Got a $50 tie for $5. $350 for suit, dress shirt, and 3 ties.

Already? Wow.

QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Jan 19, 2011 -> 05:24 PM) I just got a coupon for an additional 25% off in the mail yesterday, goof from Friday through Sunday for all men's clothing. It's on top of any sale or clearance price. You should ask around and see if you can grab the coupon from someone that is subscribed to get them. You da man, Sqwert. I'll check the mail and ask around. Also, this is just for reference: I f***ing hate tie clips. I'm totally against them.

This will be #1: http://www1.macys.com/catalog/product/inde...3D1%26spc%3D100 Might get a 2nd. We'll see. Going sometime between now and Sunday. One of my buddies also suggested Joseph A. Bank. Anyone else?

White Sox claim former top Mets prospect Phil Humber off waivers. Per the Charlotte Knights twitter. EDIT: Late to the party.

QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Jan 18, 2011 -> 01:26 PM) Tickets have been purchased... These tickets are twice as expensive as the Blackhawks Game 1 Stanley Cup tickets.

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Jan 18, 2011 -> 12:31 PM) Please wait until you are out of college until you do that. Malamutes are such great dogs, but they are not college student dogs. You will kick yourself if you do it, when you are leaving him/her alone so you can go out. We had a family Malamute, she was the best dog I ever had. I'm a senior. My non-stop partying days are about done. Plus I'd be living with 1 or 2 other friends. Besides, I'm pretty sure I'll be home more now in college than I will be once I get a full-time job. And I'm a huge dog lover.

QUOTE (Felix @ Jan 18, 2011 -> 12:19 AM) I don't doubt it, but I'm just saying, as a whole, their schedule has been fairly easy so far. And the numbers back me up on that. Really, I don't even care and it doesn't really matter. All the schedule talk is an interesting tangent more than anything. As an impartial bystander, I do think Orlando is a better team that'll make more noise in the postseason than Chicago, especially after their trades. Chicago is a good team, and it's certainly possible that when they get fully healthy they'll reach a new level previously unseen, but I don't think they can be considered the elite in the Eastern Conference until their shooting guard situation gets fixed. The numbers suggest they had a tough 1st 1/4 and easy 2nd 1/4. Thats it. Either way, they went 5-0 in the games in which they were fully healthy.

QUOTE (Felix @ Jan 17, 2011 -> 11:46 PM) Definitely a fair point, although Hollinger's rankings also point out how easy the Bulls schedule has been over the last 25 games (and over the season as a whole, for that matter). The Bulls have been playing great lately while shorthanded, but again, look at who they've played. They should be beating these teams, regardless of whether or not they have Noah. Umm, the Bulls had one of the toughest schedules in the league through about the 1st or 2nd week of December.

I should be moving into a new apartment this summer. I plan on getting a pet-friendly place and adopting an Alaskan Malamute.

QUOTE (DBAHO @ Jan 17, 2011 -> 06:29 PM) Just a lazy 47 and 14 for Griffin, he's got the ROY wrapped up right now. Magic vs. Celtics should be a good one in an hour and a half. I also think the Bulls don't have enough depth to challenge the top 3 in the East yet. Get an upgrade at SG, and that could definitely push them into that bracket though I think. Comments like this irk me. The Bulls ARE amongst the top 3 in the East. I think you generally overrate the Magic, but you're a fan so it makes sense. I'm not really scared of them at all, especially if/when the Bulls get healthy. The only thing you have on the Bulls is that the Magic whoop their ass once a season by 40+.

Just my opinion, but best case scenario for me is the Bears beating GB then beating the Steelers in the Super Bowl. Beating the Steelers would shut Cowley up.

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jan 16, 2011 -> 11:07 AM) He's not a top 10 player which is the statement I thought was ridiculous. He's not close to a top 10 player. He has nice glamor stats, but he doesn't effect his team's performance nearly enough to be a top 10 player. Kevin Love can score a bit and grabs boards with little competition on the roster, but he's not going to ever go out there and win you a ballgame. You're basically wrong about everything in this post. Seriously.

QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Jan 16, 2011 -> 07:58 AM) Bosh complaining about Omer. http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/truehoop/mia...tory?id=6024810 You f***ing kidding me? What a joke.

Rogue Dead Guy Ale is skyrocketing up my favorite beers list. I introduced it to about 10 people today and they all loved it.

QUOTE (zenryan @ Jan 12, 2011 -> 04:37 PM) The Tampa Bay Lightning announcer has to be the worst PBP man ever. Videos like this make me much more confident in my ability to get a great PBP job in the future.

QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Jan 11, 2011 -> 09:29 AM) I just bought two new suits for work. Went to MW's and Macy's. Both were pretty similar but damn did Macy's have some amazing sales after January so I went with Macy's. But definitely, you want to go with the fitted look. I know for me I love my slim fit CK's. I called Macy's today and the one here in Grand Rapids carries a lot of well known designer suits. The guy told me I could definitely get 2 suits in the $500 range. Score. Thanks for all the help gents. I'll keep you posted on what I go with and in what store.
