Definitely keep Cadillac. Very consistent and Tampa Bay will be giving him the ball a lot. He is a horse.

A lot of people don't have 'em but if you do, share it. My resolution is to be back in shape before conditioning for baseball starts.

First Aaron Miles now Willie Harris? Maybe they'll take Borchard, Timo, Munoz, Adkins, and others and make the White Sox AAAA team?

QUOTE(RockRaines @ Dec 28, 2005 -> 04:44 PM) SF1 this is what I was posting. Gotcha. I didn't realize that the numbers were so close!

Honestly, it still hasn't sunk in that Thome is on the White Sox. Until I see him come to home plate in a white pinstriped uni repping the Sox logo, I just can't believe it. EDIT: To add, how is Outfield depth our only need? It is not a need at all. We have a plethora of OF'ers. Our primary need is bullpen help at this point.

QUOTE(Kalapse @ Dec 28, 2005 -> 03:55 PM) I had to have elbow surgery my sophomore year in High School due to throwing junk in lttle league. It's not the best idea to have your 12 year old son throwing curveballs on a regular basis, he can really mess up his arm. IMO, sliders hurt my arm far more than curveballs. But as to the article, it can only make you love MB more. My dream is to be able to go on a hunting trip with Mark...even if it was just 1 day.

I believe they will go through with the green seats this offseason. They are selling all the blue seats.

QUOTE(Elcaballo45 @ Dec 27, 2005 -> 12:08 PM) Haha, that photo is just wrong. Happy New Year Everyone! It is wrong...."Reindeer" are actually Carinou, a native deer subspecies which reside in Alaska and the Northwestern territories of Canada. On Santa Claus's grave, it is clearly a Whitetail deer on the tombstone. Whitetail make habitats in the lower 48 and southern parts of Canada and in Mexico as well. Carbiou and Whitetail deer are 2 different animals. That photo is quite incorrect.

QUOTE(White Sox Josh @ Dec 27, 2005 -> 05:22 PM) I thought Howard was better than Dillon. The thing is though that Howard will probably get an oscar nomination for Hustle & Flow. Hustle & Flow and Sin City were both terrible IMO.

Holy criky I just read that and couldn't even make it past the middle of the 2nd paragraph before my brain turned into jello. 1st off, why in the hell would KW give up 4 prospects and how in the hell do the Cubs get Tejada PLUS 5 prospects!?!?!?!?! So, thats is like a 3 team/13 player deal? Oy vey!

To add my 2 cents...I think Stojakovic gets a bad wrap for being clutch. Everyone remembers the airball against the Lakers in the playoffs while he was injured but no one remembers him bringing the Kings back from a 20+ deficit with 2 minutes to go against the Mavericks single-handedly last season (or 2 seasons ago). Stojakovic would be an excellent option for the Bulls. To be able to have a big lineup like Kirk, Deng, Peja and then have Sweets/Chandler at PF and another guy like Nazr at center, would benefit the Bulls alot. The defense is still there and you improve your bench with 1 of Sweets/Chandler, while you still have Duhon, Pargo, and probably the 2 draft picks. If Ben will be a Bull next season, I don't know. But, IMO, Stojakovic would be a great pickup and would give this team a big offensive boost and give it a better outside game while Nazr would bring more of a low post threat.

Wow. I like how he mentions how Rex has 3 pics in 6 quarters while Orton had 5 in 1 game. -

ANOTHER football team in Chicago?
SoxFan1 replied to HuskyCaucasian's topic in Alex’s Olde Tyme Sports Pub
QUOTE(AnthraxFan93 @ Dec 26, 2005 -> 01:31 PM) The only good things coming from a 2nd football team is that I would probally be able to grab some tix.. With the wait list of the bears, its almost impossable to grab them. Also I hate the cold, so this is ideal for myself to watch a game. I like the idea of having the Super Bowl here, I feel that Chicago would be perfect town for it.. We are a Mini- New Orleans, we love to party. Just think of how many bars/Clubs there are here, revenue would more than pay for the stadium built.. Daley looking that the bottom line, and its a smart move to make. Mini-New Orleans? You might want to re-think that. -
I believe I was one of the guys defending the Bears while everyone else was bashing them but I could be wrong. All I know for sure, is that when Grossman went down, I pretty much threw in the towel. Glad I was wrong.

1st Time in history White Sox & Bears
SoxFan1 replied to RME JICO's topic in Alex’s Olde Tyme Sports Pub
QUOTE(whitesoxin' @ Dec 26, 2005 -> 01:38 AM) I know how you feel. I got banned for 30 days. It was good for me though, I had enough after the game where the Royals came back and threw us around and ironically my suspension was lifted the night we clinched the pennant. Haha. I really changed the week I got suspended right before they clinched. The game they clinched against Detroit, I was so relieved. It really did change me a little. That's the only time I'll ever thank Jas for suspending me lol. Thanks Jas!
