Luis Robert mild groin strain, status TBD
Was anybody in the training staff fired from last year? I thought I remembered seeing that somebody was, but I see James Kruk is still there since taking over for Brian Ball in 2020.

White Sox vs Guardians GT 4/21/22
Hahaha if this series doesn't do that we're really toast. I feel like I need a therapy session after the last 48 hours. How does one make themselves care less about April baseball games?

White Sox vs Guardians GT 4/21/22
I hope the Twins sweep these jagoffs.

White Sox vs Guardians GT 4/21/22
Oh weird, you mean running the guy coming off hip surgery non stop just to keep your idiot "MVP" out of DP situations has already backfired, who coulda seen that coming?

Ump told Tim "you already had the ball"

GT: Sox @ Guardians Game 2: Lambert vs. McKenzie
This is the dumbest day of Sox baseball I can remember. I really hope these guys just drank for 48 hours straight so at least there's an excuse.

4/20 game thread Sox at CLE
Hasn't been a cleanly fielded ball yet, Tim and Jose are drunk and/or high, Keuchel throwing BP.
-
4/20 game thread Sox at CLE
Hey Tim and Jose, go ahead and get the fuck off the field.

4/20 game thread Sox at CLE
all right so what's it going to take to get Montas?

4/20 game thread Sox at CLE
I love the dude, but he's got a minus arm.

4/20 game thread Sox at CLE
Jose hasn't been right since 4/10 when he selfishly slid into home for no reason during a 9-1 game and hurt himself. Was rubbing his knee in the dugout afterwards.

GT 4/16: Rays at Sox, 1:10 CT
Would like to see Sheets in for Jose today. Jose is 1 for his last 15 with 7 K's after unnecessarily sliding into home during a 9-1 ballgame on Sunday and hurting himself.

I used to work for Apple corporate, could not agree more.

Let's talk about Luis Robert
Haha yep, was it KWill that said "he's built like an Under Armor mannequin?"

Let's talk about Luis Robert
For sure, I give Bo the nod on arm strength though.

Let's talk about Luis Robert
I couldn't be more excited about watching Robert's growth. His eye/discipline has improved tenfold since he first came up. Yesterday's HR AB was a prime example of understanding how pitchers are approaching him, and making them pay dearly when they don't execute. I feel like the league thinks you can get him to roll over stuff up and away, nah dude punishes anything you dare to leave up. He's gotta be the most exciting Sox player in my life since Frank and has the chance to be something truly special.

Micker Adolfo DFA'd
MLB trade values has him at a 2.5. Would love if they could get a lefty pen piece with some/any MLB experience such as this deal from one of the teams you mentioned.

Cueto to Sox (Official)
This was the one where Farmio exclaimed "get off the ledge!!!" wasn't it?

Cueto to Sox (Official)
I agree wholeheartedly

More food, beer info from sox
Yeah, I'd always just eat the palmer house and pistachio. The sherbet was originally intended to be a pallet cleanser before you dive into the other flavors, but I feel like it's grown over the years and is there's way too much of it in the pics they posted.

More food, beer info from sox
Man, I worked at the Orland Park Rainbow Cone spot off 143rd and LaGrange that no longer exists (same owner as the OG Beverly location) and and their Taste of Chicago booth for 3 summers. Would make enough scooping ice cream during 14 hours days at the Taste to have beer money for the year at highly prestigious Northern Illinois University. There's an art to slapping those cones together, bringing back some fond memories with that offering.

SP Targets
I'd give J.A. Happ a buzz. Local guy, finished stronger than he started last year, could add him to the pen as a lefty arm once Lynn returns if he's not getting shelled. Also, I once played beer pong with him and he was a nice dude. Unless you can coax Miller out of retirement I don't see many better options that don't involve a trade.
