This might have come out incorrectly.... Ted Haggard promoted Colorado's marriage amendment last year, where he was a pastor of a megachurch. But if people who support gay marriage bans want to use this as a reason to ban gay marriage, they ought to put their money where there mouth is.

Interesting point of view (global warming debate)
Rex Kickass replied to Jenksismyhero's topic in The Filibuster
There's definitely an anecdotal link between a sudden rise in CO2 in the last 125 years and the temperature rise in CO2 in the last 125 years. If the CO2 levels in the previous graph that you posted correspond with warming cycles and ice ages, and if humans have been producing CO2 in the atmosphere at unprecedented levels in the last 125 years - why is it a bad idea to try to break the best known possible link between climate change and human interaction? -
People who believe in marriage equality are fighting fire with fire, finally. Using the initative process to their advantage to take away nonsensical arguments against same sex marriage. A Proposed Washington State initiative would require married couples to have a baby within three years or their marriage would no longer be considered valid. And state ballot initiative leader and gay prostitute using pastor Ted Haggard has now become "completely heterosexual."

Interesting point of view (global warming debate)
Rex Kickass replied to Jenksismyhero's topic in The Filibuster
There's no doubt that pollution has far reaching effects... one of which may be global climate change. By reducing CO2 emissions, we can help reclaim the negative effects that it has had on our environment. It's a good thing to do regardless of global warming. But if you want good anecdotal evidence - look at Mount Kilimanjaro. Look at the mountains in Montana that had snow caps year round 50 years ago. The average temperature on earth today is a full degree higher than it was 120 years ago, and a full degree higher than it was at the end of the last warming "cycle." -
Take care, be safe.

QUOTE(LosMediasBlancas @ Feb 5, 2007 -> 01:41 PM) The Police? Hello, tap, tap, is this thing on? Coachella headliners: Friday, Bjork Saturday, Silly Peppers Sunday, Rage Against The Machine. I don't really want to spend 3 full days there, nor do I want to shell out that kind of cash for a weekend pass. I really want to see Rage, so I figured I'd just buy a ticket for Sunday. Get this, you can purchase a ticket for just Friday, or a ticket for just Saturday, but you CANNOT purchase a Sunday ticket by itself, if you wnat to go on Sunday, you MUST buy the 3 day pass. Seems to me that the promoters realize that Bjork and the Peppers will be a weak draw and that everyone wants to see Rage. Great marketing, but it sux for some fans. I would love to see Bjork and The Swans co-headline a tour.

QUOTE(southsideirish71 @ Feb 4, 2007 -> 10:59 PM) My favorite was the blockbuster one where they had the rabbit and the guinnie pig using the mouse. They are pushing on the mouses back and he is squeaking(its not working, try dragging it the mouse speaks more, then they figure they need to plug it in). That wasn't bad at all.

1987. Sox beat Rangers 5-3 at Old Comiskey. My dad wouldn't let me have a score card so I had to use the Brown Bag from the lunch my mom packed. Neighbor with season tickets gave us the tickets, first base line in the "Gold Box." Pete Incaviglia hit a home run that was a mile high. Dad made us leave middle of the 9th inning. There were 9000 people there. And that's what I did on my summer vacation.

I was wondering that and why he didn't play a single song written after 1983. Come on? Black Sweat is a jam! QUOTE(AssHatSoxFan @ Feb 4, 2007 -> 10:07 PM) yeah, i know we couldnt touch him on defense but when they played good enough to keep us in the game and rex tried hard to give it away its much easier to simply deflect the blame to him but man was the whole team utterly pathetic today Turn the ball over more than five times and you usually don't win any game, let alone the Super Bowl. But Rex was pretty awful for most of the game. He only seemed to find his groove when the game was iced.

Was kinda pissed when the Giants went and won in week 17 to deny the Packers the wild card spot. Even if the Bears hardly played any regulars in that game, nobody thought the Pack had a sniff at .500 after week 1.

I think the real story is really "Just what was Prince wearing on his head? And why does he look like the hermaphrodite offspring of Lena Horne and Little Richard? And why was he playing Foo Fighters songs?"

QUOTE(Texsox @ Feb 4, 2007 -> 10:03 AM) Are you saying that women can't decide what to do with their bodies, that the Governor has the right to make the decision on what must be injected into them? Is it because women can not understand the risks and benefits of the vaccination that a Governor with a penis must decide? When I read this, why is it that all I can think of is the movie "Female Trouble?" Say it with me, liquid eyeliner!
