I wouldn't do Boone and Williamson for Crede straight up let alone throw in a prospect. Why would anyone trade a rookie 3rd base stud for a 2 month rental and a reliever you can't even afford to take to his final yr of arb? I hope that deal makes even less sense to KW.

Jose is on pace for 18 E's and 105 DP's, that's a huge improvement for him. Konerko is still the achilles heel in that IF, you can attribute 4 errors apiece for Jose and Joe because of his inability to dig balls out of the dirt.

Why would you want to trade Konerko for a pitcher that no one else is going to offer more than a mid-level prospect for?

FYI, Wright is scheduled to pitch Thursday so if he is held out of that start it'd be a good indicator that he'll be the starter Saturday. Barring a trade of course.

Yep we are looking at about 8 starts tops, if you act like you need Cy Young you put a big limit on your possibilities.

Ya know, I feel like I read a different article than the rest of you. I got no impression that White was talking about his personal situ but about the BP as a whole. Guess what, this is exactly what happens when you try to go with a closer by committee, it's why teams almost never do it, and if you do try you have to clearly communicate your intentions with all the pitchers. Obviously this hasn't happened. And come to think of it, who was supposed to say something? Tom Gordon seems logical except there'd be people blasting him for lobbying for the closer job. Marte the same thing plus he just a young'n, Koch? Well now wouldn't that be turned into a nice little contraversy. Wunsch? only been here 2 days. Glover? Hell if White hadn't spoke up for him(which he was dead right on btw) he still might not have pitched this month. As I see it this fell to White by default, and before you go saying he shoulda said it in private how do you know he didn't? Yea we shoulda got him for Majewski, he was more than just a lefty specialist for the 'spos and it woulda been nice to have kept him outa KC's hands.
