It was the Allyns not Veeck who changed the name to Sox Park, Veeck changed it back to Comiskey when he bought the team back in the '70's. Yes it would've been better if they had never named the new place Comiskey.

Well I think we've learned a lesson that with the players and managers voting it's more important to have a good start than were you end up at near the AS break. This makes sense in that they receive their ballots around June 15th and let's face it , on June 15th Frank didn't have the #'s to make it.

They usually take the top 5 in HR's for each league, Soriano or Boone may bow out to let Frank in though.

I find it curious that with our pitching in 3rd in the AL and our hitting in 13th that people would want to trade the little bit of decent hitting we have for some ?????able at best pitching.

I want to see how this team plays against good teams....like the Mariners, A's, Yanks, Red Sox, or whoever else. Well the early returns vs the M's, A's, Red Sox, and Giants is 6-13. Blistering!

I would guess that KW reserved the right to trade any of those guys and thus give the Rangers motivation to makes their choices as early as possible. But then again we are talking about KW so who the hell knows. I have only heard the July 25th date.
