I should have expected this out of Palka this year, but I was sort of hoping he could be one of those diamonds in the rough this spring. The Sox are way overdue for one of those guys. They haven't had one since Buehrle. Imagine how much better this lineup would look with Palka putting up .255/.330/.825

Kinda where I'm at too. I'm disappointed but not overly concerned.....yet. I do consider this a bit of a red flag but it can be easily overcome by a strong start in 2020.

I agree with you but I don't think that it is realistic. Their only hope is to have their pitching get hot in the playoffs. Their roster is never going to be as good as the Yankees and Astros are this year.

They better in 2021 though. They still have to compete with the Jankees and Astros. Those two, when healthy are about as perfect as is reasonable in baseball.
