Future White Sox Lineup #GetExcited
Switch Collins and Eloy. I remember being ripped a new asshole for saying Eloy was a joke in the OF last year. Where y'all at now?

That is true on both accounts. Pilkington is striking out a ton of batters in Kanny. Has he returned to his 2017 velocity levels? Has any scout seen him? I have heard Pilkington was in consideration for a top 10-15 pick before dropping velocity from 93-96 to 87-90

If they take Misner I might shit a brick. It would be like Jared Mitchell all over again, with a top 3 pick.

Tim Anderson to be suspended 1 game for... language?
It's actually empowering to take those words and turn them around like that. If you've never been fucked with like that you wouldn't know.

Tim Anderson to be suspended 1 game for... language?
Let me put some context in this: As an autistic person I have zero problem joking about myself by calling a poor decision I made due to autistic thinking processes "retarded" but if a neurotypical called me that I'd find it highly offensive. The same applies here. It is about taking back a word used to demean and degrade a marginalized group. I have no problem with people of African descent using the N word and I have no problem with disabled people using the word "retarded" nor do I have a problem with gay people using the F or D word. It is empowering to take the words used for hate back. If you weren't fucked with verbally as a kid for being different in a way that was outside your control, you wouldn't understand.

Isn't this the 2nd time Cease has been ppd already this season? That blows. He's only made one start on time.

2019 Golf/PGA Tour Thread.
BTW, when TW won the Masters some guy said the following on twitter: Tiger: *hugs mom after winning the Masters* Tiger's Asian mom: "You made bogey on the last hole, that is bad" I laughed a lot because my cousins are half Asian and their dad was like that, and my mom is a retired teacher and teachers are the same way.

That was a classic Chappelle bit. One of my all time faves.

Jason Benetti's commentary during Anderson vs. Royals
I like the goofing around. I love when Foley and Olczyk do it with the Hawks, and I like Benetti doing it as well.

2019 Golf/PGA Tour Thread.
Ok, so I'm getting a wee bit frustrated because I have to play golf on a budget, and am finding it impossible. The biggest issue for me is the $20 per week or so to keep your swing in good shape. I can't afford that. Another thing is that I can't not take it seriously. Like everything I do, I want to get better and when I don't have the time and money to put into something I really enjoy doing it blows. Why is this sport so damn expensive? I know it was intended for upper class people but I think we've gotten beyond that point, no?

2019 MLB draft thread
I'm throwing it out there because I really don't think they're going to pick Witt or Abrams if Rutschman and Vaughn go 1-2.

If the Sox can get Lodolo underslot what would everyone think about that? Like save $1-1.5 M in pool money underslot.

4/18 Games
Madrigal and players like him still have a place. They're the moneyball players of the new era. Even if they don't hit it over the fence, if they spray the ball to all fields and get tons of 2B and 3B with elite speed and defense, that player is probably the most undervalued good player in baseball at the moment.

Acceptable Strikeout Rate
It's more relevant for prospects and young hitters at the MLB level who haven't established themselves yet. Once a hitter establishes their OPS and OBP track record at the MLB level it doesn't really matter again until they reach age 31-33 or older, after which it could be a sign of impending decline. Strikeout rate is a huge deal for pitchers every season, but I'm assuming you're not asking about pitchers.
