Anyone with half a brain could have seen that he never should've been activated from Charlotte.
-
Pitching the way he did vs the Jankees in a monsoon told me a lot. Showed a lot of guts in that start.
-
Don't count Gio out either. He looked like he was about to turn a corner before he got injured.
-
Have any info on what his fastball velocity is like?
-
You know, there is a thread about him that exists already on the 1st page.

No dude there was a poster here who went by "witesoxfan" and that is who I was referring to. He was, at one point, living in North Dakota -

It was also why high functioning autism was not diagnosed until the late 90s. It was considered quack science until the late 80s. The increase in children being diagnosed with autism is due to increased knowledge of the condition rather than anything else. It is now estimated that 2% of the world's population is on the spectrum. -

Similarly, I don't like high functioning autism being called "Asperger's" because if you knew who Hans Asperger was you'd puke. He studied children in Hitler Youth and executed those who now bear his name in label in Hitler's eugenics movement. It has an incredibly negative connotation to me. -
He's going to strike at a 20+% clip. If he hits .290 with 30 bombs and a .825+ OPS who cares?

Future White Sox Lineup #GetExcited

I was 6-12 years old when Frank was at his best. I can still picture my 9 year old self at the ballpark with Gene Honda announcing his name. I remember having Frank vs Spammy arguments in middle school, lol. -

Disagree. I think they'll be outside of the top 10. They're really close to going on a run, and for all of the right reasons. The only way they finish in the top 10 in the draft is if they trade Rodon, Colome and Herrera or if all of the position player vets (Abreu, Alonso, Castillo) continue to hit for shit. -

Sox pitching has been fine. The stats are skewed by the combination of a bad week for the staff and small sample size. The defense has been atrocious. -

Yeah the defense sucks. I don't necessarily think Alonso has been bad he has 12 walks and is on an unlucky BABIP streak. Yeah the catchers are bad and I disagree about Jones. Abreu has been shitty. -

Who's crappy outside of Sanchez, Cordell and Santana? Engel is a 4th OF. Meh. Cordell might not actually be crappy. The bullpen also looks worse than it is at the back end because of a bad outing from Fry and Jones. Both still have nasty stuff. Maybe I'm just being overly optimistic, idk. -

No, they do. They're underperforming. Am I stupid to think they should be right there with the Twins and Indians? Based on what I've seen this year out of the young pitchers and hitters they should not be losing series to the Royals and Tigers. Disappointed in Eloy and Abreu so far but outside of that there are a lot of positives here. Lopez/Giolito look worse than they've actually pitched because they had one bad start and it is April so that skews the stats. -

I'm incredibly annoyed that they're still struggling with the fucking Royals and Tigers. They have twice as much talent than both of them combined and they still lose series to those schmucks
