Why get rid of a team in which most of the players helped win the World Series? Granted we need more speed and more power in the outfield but I sure wouldn't break up the ball club.

I doubt very much if Bardon will be going any place this off season.

It's hard to keep motivated when a season that looked so promising to repeat as champions went down the drain. At least Michigan and the Dallas Cowboys won for me this weekend.

The Twins will have to go into a real tailspin and we'll have to play like we haven't played all year for us to even get the wild card. They way Minnesota is playing, it's not going to happen.

My thoughts exactly. KW isn't going to put up with another year like this. Ozzie's temper isn't helping things any, Ozzie won't be fired but perhaps a different style. This isn't what I expected of this season.

I've been saying all along, never say die.. Well I hate to say this but the season is just about over for us. This isn't the what I was expecting from this team. I sure hope the Sox prove me wrong and make the playoffs.

I see the Big Hurt hit another one against us. We need to win to avoid falling another game behind as the Twins won.

Once the Sox are officially eliminated I will be for the A's only for Frank Thomas' sake. It kills me for the Big Hurt to come back and haunt us like he does. He may be in a different uniform but he is still one of my all time favorite Sox players.

We better get prepared for a number of changes next year, especially if we don't make the playoffs this year.

Russ Gload is a good back up first baseman and pretty good at the plate. I don't see why not trying him in left field.

It will be close if we make the playoffs. If we can play like we did today, we'll do it.

Being 2 1/2 behind the Twins and 4 behind the Tigers, we're going to need help to make the playoffs now. This has sure been a disappointing season.

Now were 2 1/2 games behind Minnesota! We're in deep trouble.
