It made the movie 30 minutes longer, and there were a lot of great scenes. The director's cut included snippets from the book Donnie was reading, and the very last page it showed focused on this line "Some of the people who were living in the divergent world will not remember it happened." (my paraphrase) That totally opened my eyes to the "Mad World" segment where the actors are responding to their "dreams" they just had. Some of them remember what happened and some of them don't. I remember the official website being very interesting, fwiw. Great movie.

Has anyone seen Donnie Darko (I'm sure)... has anyone seen Donnie Darko Director's Cut? The former is hard to understand....the latter makes MUCH more sense... that could be because I've seen the movie 6-7 times, though.

wow, imagine that... people disagree about comedy. If you think Dane Cook is the funniest man alive, then ok. He has some of the funniest bits I've ever heard.
